Letha giggled happily, surprising herself. She glanced at the trees and watched them pass quickly.
City Streets (CLOSED 3/3)
Skye sensed her excitement and sped up even more launching himself -not into a full-on dead run, but a much faster pace that he knew he could keep up all day.
(BTW im here for awhile.)
Letha laughed and pressed herself closer to Skye's back, completely relaxed and utterly amazed.
(cause im bored..)
(XD ok)
(I'm timeskipping a little now till later that night, )
Skye was still running, though he had slowed a little bit his pace hadnt wavered. he kept going even though the stars were bright in the sky.
(oke!)
Letha could feel herself falling asleep as Skye ran on, his long loping strides making it hard to stay awake. She clutched his fur in her hands and laid her head on his back, forcing her eyes to stay at least half awake.
Skye sensed Letha drifting off, and growled a light almost cat like rumble, as he slowed a little in case she slipped off. "you should really try to stay awake" he said, " if you cant then we should stop"
"I'm awake.." she mumbled into his back and tried to open her eyes, not wanting to have him stop unless he needed to.
Skye swerved purposely around two trees in a burst of speed, then ran headlong down a steep hill swerving side to side around trees. then he came to a dead stop.
Letha quickly sat up when Skye swerved and she looked around, wide awake for the moment.
"now are you awake?" he asked mildly, as he began moving again at a light lope.
"Yes," Letha nodded and yawned, trying to hide it.
Skye stopped again, then looking around he padded off course a bit inspecting the foilage around him as he went
Letha looked at the bushes and plants, seeing nothing special. "Are you looking for something?"
Skye stopped short as he nosed around some diamond shaped leaves, "There, this plant is called Night Dorimiunt, chew some of those leaves it will keep u awake."
"Ok," She grabbed a few of the leaves and popped them into her mouth, squeezing her eyes shut at the strong bitter taste. "Oh, wow, those are bitter. Yeah, I'm definitely awake now." She grabbed a few more and tucked them into her pocket incase they were needed.
"good, " he said, satisfied that the problem was solved, "Now we've come at least 300 Leagues, (I dont actually know what the measurement is and im not good with measure ments but they have come really far..) so should i keep going (insert direction,) or should we change course to get to this port city, he asked .
Letha looked around and smiled "I know where we are now, we have to go this way now," She pointed to the west "We have to to this way for a few hours, until we meet a dirt path, them we follow that until we get to the city,"
Skye shifted in assent then resumed his original pace in the direction she'd pointed out.
Letha looked around and smiled Mira flowers and my brother, here we come! she thought to herself and settled back into Skye's stride.
(Skip til morning? You can start this time, also Skye can and will go all night since Nebulis (his wolf half) are usually nocturnal.)
(Ok,)
Letha snapped back into reality, not noticing that she had been daydreaming for several hours. "Hey Skye, you need a break? It's already dawn." She looked at the sunrise and let Skye run on, waiting for his answer.
Skye slowed a bit, "Im good for awhile yet. Why are you sore?" he asked.
She nodded "A little," Letha tried to sit up and winced "Scratch that, a lot,"
Skye slowed and padded to a stop by the side of the road, as he had reached it about an hr before. "Then i guess we'd better take a break huh?" he said jokingly as he waited for Letha to dismount.
Letha slowly got off of Skye's back and promptly sat on the ground, wincing. "Ok, I might need to walk for a little bit.." she said slowly and stood up, stretching her legs several times.
Skye laughed as he sat down and watched her stretch. " I guess I should've warned you about the fact that more muscles are used to keep your balance when riding a wolf than with a horse… after all you have to move with me, and let me do the work, and its easy for you but in the long run…" he laughed again, "Well thats what happens if ur not used to it"
Letha chuckled "Well, now I know," She rubbed her eyes and her stomach growled, reminding her that she hasn't slept all night and that she hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday.
