Hunter took a seat after piling pancakes on his PLATE and began to drown them with his chocolate syrup. He took a bite and immediately froze.
“I’m in heaven,” is all he said. “You, Kenz, have just given me a taste of heaven.”

Kenzie's cheeks burned a deeper crimson than before, and she looked down, smiling. "Thanks," she murmured, looking up through her eyelashes.
Looking back down at her plate, she took a bite of her pancake, thankful that she hadn't eaten too much earlier. When she finished her pancake a couple minutes later, she finally risked another glance up at Hunter.

Hunter couldn’t take his eyes off of Kenzie. He had said it so many times before, but it wouldn’t hurt to say it again. She was beautiful. And that blush on her cheeks? It made her look prettier.
When she looked up after finishing her pancakes, Hunter had already eaten his and was looking at her intently. He noticed syrup smudged on the corner of her lips and without thinking, he reached out to wipe it off with his thumb.
(A Huntzie moment for you guys)

Hunter reached up and wiped something off the corner of Kenzie's lips with his thumb, and she immediately froze. She wasn't used to the feeling that exploded in her chest, and she didn't know what to do with it. Taking a deep breath in, and letting it out slowly, she tried to calm her nerves down.
Smiling at Hunter weakly, her voice shook with the nerves she had tried to repress as she spoke. "So. Breakfast is done… What next?"
