(Please don’t. I really like this dude.)
Cliché Roleplay [Closed]
Luna got to the harbor where the cruise ship was docked. There was a rock climbing-like wall with a rope to get up (there was also an elevator but Luna chose the wall climbing). Once she reached the top she saw how amazing it was, a pool toward the middle of the lower part of the top, an outdoor bar at the upper part, it was like a town on the water. The first thing Luna did was get to her room which was in first class. The room was like a nice house and Luna felt slightly insignificant.
Luna unpacked and went to the bar to see what there was. To her surprise, there was a cute… no, not cute, HOT guy at the bar drinking vodka. She casually walked over to him and sat one seat away from him, trying to catch his eye somehow.
Kenzie was in the kitchen making herself breakfast when her phone beeped with a new message.
HUNTER: Morning, Kenz. How was your sleep?
She smiled, despite her earlier, confused thoughts, and typed a response.
KENZIE: Hey, 'morning. It was good, yours?
Her phone buzzed and she checked it. Hunter texted her. "Yeah I'm there thanks for checking! Make sure my house it ok, please? Thanks, Hunter! : )" she sent. Then she put her phone away and went back to trying to catch the guy's eye in the most subtle way possible.
Hunter stepped into his kitchen while drying his hair with a towel when his phone rang, signalling a message. He let the towel rest on his head as he grabbed his phone. He smiled in relief at Kenzie’s response.
”It was good,” he typed. ”Slept well in a long time.
“What are your plans for today?”
When he set his phone on the counter, it buzzed again. Thinking it was Kenzie, he picked it up. It wasn’t Kenzie, but Luna.
”Yeah,” he said. ”Leave it to me.”
He contemplated what to make, before deciding on French Toast and began to make his breakfast.
(While Luna is off on the cruise y'all better make the best of her absence.)
A few minutes after starting to make herself breakfast–she'd decided on pancakes, her favorite comfort food–Kenzie's phone buzzed again. It was another message from Hunter. She smiled, then replied: Pancakes!!! :) After that, nothing.
Hunter was mixing the eggs when his phone buzzed. This time, it was Kenzie.
Hunter: You’d probably kill me for this, but I am not really a big fan of Pancakes :D
With her pancakes done and piled on a plate, Kenzie sat at her dining room table. She took out the maple syrup, butter, and peanut butter and set them on the table. Just as she was about to sit down to eat, she got another text from Hunter. She laughed when she read that he didn't like pancakes, then typed her reply.
KENZIE: That's because you haven't tried mine, yet. Give me 30 minutes, and I'll be there with some.
Hunter was just about to pop the last piece of French toast in his mouth when he received a message from Kenzie. He grinned.
Hunter: Oh, good thing I’m such a foodie. I’ll be waiting ;)
Matthew sat hunched over at the outdoor bar, drooling over a burger and a vodka. He poured some water into the vodka because it was too strong for his liking. Then he noticed this girl. She was… beautiful. Her hair fell over her face in dark locks, her eyes were like the night sky, her pupils the moon. He made eye contact with her for a split second, then turned away as quickly as he had glanced at her. Her stare was so powerful, he could even feel her gaze upon him. Finally, he turned to the girl and asked, "Can I buy you a drink?"
(THE SHIP IS MAKING PROGRESS)
Luna examined his face for a moment after he asked her. What she saw was sadness deep in his eyes. "Ah, I'll just have root beer." she responded, trying her best not to be too cheery towards him. After she got her self some root beer she turned to him again, "Would it be okay if I sat next to you?" she timidly asked.
Knowing that Kenzie would be here quickly, Hunter started to tidy up his house. His living room was littered with torn up pages and dirty canvas from his failed drawing and painting attempts, but it didn’t take a long time to clean the mess up. His apartment wasn’t much, but the walls were decorated with the drawings he really liked. He didn’t put Luna’s up there, because it was meant to be a gift for her. Suddenly remembering something, Hunter brought out a canvas with a drawing out and hung it on the wall. It was Al, her eyes twinkling and shining, her mouth pulled into a bright smile, looking like she had finally escaped the nightmare she’s was trapped in. That was the day she was murdered. Hunter wanted to cherish her memory, and he couldn’t find any other way to do.
As he was observing his work, his eyes fell on a sketch he had made when he was in high school. It was Kenzie. She was sitting on her desk, her cheek resting on her palm with a pencil in her hand. Hunter took it down, not wanting Kenzie to feel creeped out with her picture hanging on his apartment walls.
(Sorry! I went to a play last night and didn't have time to post. And oh my goodness, I'm shipping Huntzie so hard!)
Kenzie smiled when she received Hunter's text, then quickly finished her breakfast and ran to her room to get dressed. She eventually decided on a pale pink blouse, a pair of dark skinny jeans, and black boots. As a last minute decision, she hastily put on some mascara, making her blue eyes pop.
Checking her watch, she realized that she had fifteen minutes to get to Hunter's place. She quickly packed up some pancakes, grabbed her purse, and left her apartment, locking the door behind herself. As she walked to her car, she thought that she should give Jordan a heads up that she was gone, so she sent him a quick text saying so.
Almost five minutes earlier than she had said, Kenzie finally arrived at Hunter's. She walked to his door and knocked, then waited for him to open it.
(I just realized that I probably won't be able to post later today…) :(
(It’s okay, I’m sort of busy rn so I can’t post either)
(I’m shipping Huntzie so hard, too!)
When Hunter heard the knock of the door, he grinned. She was finally here.
He opened the door and was about to give her a suggestive smile when his breath got knocked out of his lungs. She looked… amazing. Her eyes especially. Then he regained his composure and smirked at her.
“Ah, there’s my guest,” he smirked. “I was waiting for you.”
Kenzie felt her cheeks burn red as Hunter stared at her. She was relieved when he finally spoke and let her in.
“Ah, there’s my guest. I was waiting for you," he said with a playful smirk.
"Yup! And I've got pancakes!" Kenzie said, smiling and holding up the bag.
(It's so adorable, I can't even…)
(I know right omg)
“Finally,” Hunter complained. “Do you know how hungry I am? Especially after you told me how delicious your pancakes are!” he shot an accusing glare, but it melted into a cheeky grin soon. He came to love the way her cheeks burned red. She looked more adorable than she already did, and that was impossible because Kenzie was really adorable.
(OH MY GODS I SHIP IT SO MUCH RN!!!!!!)
(SO DO I OMG)
(@SorceressWriter what play did you go to?)
(I went to A Pilgrim's Progress. And I'm baaack!)
Kenzie rolled her eyes, then smiled playfully. "Are you going to let me in?" she asked. "Or am I just going to have to stand out here while you drool over my pancakes?"
(Let's make this ship sail, shall we? raises an eyebrow and smirks)
(Whelp… I've gtg, and I probably won't be back until tomorrow.)
(Yes let’s make this ship sail!!)
Hunter blinked before grinning sheepishly.
“Yeah, yeah, come in,” Hunter took a few steps back to allow Kenzie into his house. “I sure hope you’re going to eat with me. It’ll be sad eating alone, y’know.”
Kenzie giggled as she stepped into the room. "Well, I already…" she trailed off as she looked around, taking in the art on the walls. "Wow," she breathed. "This is amazing! You did all these?"
