"I don't believe you," Hunter's smirk started to drop and his eyes began to close as he leaned closer to kiss her. When he noticed Kenzie doing the same thing, he immediately changed his direction and kissed the corner of her mouth before pulling away and winking at Kenzie cheekily. "Don't you want your car back?"

Letting out a shuddering breath, Kenzie glared at Hunter.
"You're mean. You know that right?" she asked, slipping underneath his arms. She turned her back to him and walked to her car.
Hunter grinned back at her.
"You saw that coming," he winked. "But hey, if you want to kiss me, just tell me. Why so shy?"

Kenzie froze and straightened. She turned around slowly, and the setting sun reflected off her eyes, showing a gleam to them that they hadn't held before.
"If you couldn't tell," she whispered, suddenly shy again, "I'm not much of an initiator."
Hunter felt a thump in his chest and suddenly he turned around, covering his face.
"Damn it," he cursed. "You're so damn adorable."
