Ferran nudged Mirage's arm. "Come on! It'll be sick!"

Carter knew they were all looking at him. He switched his latte to his other hand and gave them a gesture that involved his middle finger.
"I'm serious! That's not something I'm interested in. You guys sound like the jerks at my school. And yes, I know he's a villain, but he's not doing anything right now."
"And now he's flipping us off. Way to go."
“No, he flipped us off.”
(Idk if that was worded weird but my little cousin was reading over my shoulder and I wasn't going to curse, but now I have to explain what the middle finger means)
"Rude." Ferran commented. "Let's go annoy him for that."
(Ooof, well have fun. ^pats back^)
(Maybe just skip anything rude then.)
("What was the gesture?"
"A friendship gesture. Don't tell your mom.")
Carter took a sip from his drink and groaned. They were going over to him.
("What was the gesture?"
"A friendship gesture. Don't tell your mom.")
(XD)
(She's gone now)
Mirage blink out of visibility. "Guys, seriously. Your picking a pretty petty fight right now."
“Maybe I should’ve just became a super villain instead.”
Ferran cringed. "Don't say that."
"Why on earth would you do that?" Mirage groaned.
Carter scowled at the boardwalk. Why did they always feel the need to annoy him? It didn't matter if they weren't with him yet, he could still hear what they were talking about.
Ferran smiled as he approached Carter. "Hey ya, Cartboy."
Mirage stood back, resignedly watching as people passed through her, unaware she was there.
"Get away from me, Ferran." Carter growled.
“Wow, you do have a life outside of being a villain.”
Ferran put his hands up in mock defense. "Sorry, dude. Just tryin to have a friendly conversation for once."
Alanna remembered last time when they had a conversation, someone went home with a bullet wound.
Carter rolled his eyes. "Sure, I'll believe that you start every "friendly" conversation with with a mocking nickname."
“… well do you want a cute nickname? Like Carty or something?”
Ferran shrugged apologetically. "I give everyone nick-names, right Al?" He turned to Alanna.
“Yep.” Alanna sighed.
"I don't take nicknames from people like you." Carter said, looking directly at Ferran.
Mirage wanted to point out that he had nicknames for everyone, just not taunting ones. But she held her toungue.
