“Anytime, man,” Cyrus responded with a brief grin. He glanced up at the sky, then back at Kaz. “How about we go sit back down, yeah? You can tell me about those rumored abilities of yours.”

“Anytime, man,” Cyrus responded with a brief grin. He glanced up at the sky, then back at Kaz. “How about we go sit back down, yeah? You can tell me about those rumored abilities of yours.”
The demon lifted its hands and the roof of the cafe was lifted off, hurlingnaway into the storm. “Chandra,” he cooed. “I know you’re in here, my sweet.”
Reign screamed and her fire reacted, lashing out at the demon. He seemed annoyed, maybe a little pain.
“Shut the f-ck up, you idiot,” Chandra muttered. “Okay, I’m going to turn the light off, now!” She said louder.
He strode past all the onlookers, barely even flinching from any attacks. “Yes, do that,” he said proudly. “Then you can come with me.”
//I’m gonna pause this here and wait for everyone else

Cyrus had jerked his attention towards the demon once the roof was gone. Rain seemed to quickly soak his clothes, strands of his hair sticking to his pale face. On instinct, a scratchy hiss escaped his throat, but he quickly smacked his hand over his mouth, really hoping no one had noticed how inhuman it sounded. He chose to watch, and if things got too physical, then he would do something. He would only shift or use his inhuman like speed if he had to.
(hi sorry I was taking a test) Kaz flinched as the rain hit his skin. He started to hyperventilate a little. You're okay, you're ok, just a little rain, your dad's dead, he can't hurt you, he muttered. Unfortunately, in his panic vague black lines began to trace the veins of his neck and arms, and his eyes were turning a violent faded purple. He looked down at his hands, now staining themselves in splotches of black. "Oh. Oh no."
Isaac observes, noticing that the figure is talking to someone inside the cafe. He walks back in, had the roof been there he would of waited on the mat but since the cafe was alread soaked he walked in freely. Watching, waiting for something to happen.

Cyrus threw a quick glance over at Kaz, hearing his heart rate increase. Wendigo’s had heightened senses, allowing him to hear sounds such as that. He watched as Kaz’s eyes shifted to a darker shade of red, and black marks appeared on this skin. “What the hell?” He muttered to himself, his own eyes widening slightly.
(whoops had another test) Kaz looked over at Cyrus, realizing he was probably freaking him out. He put his hands up, eyes wide. "Don't worry, it's ok! I'm ok! I'm not dangerous I promise!" he tried to insist. "J-Just gimme a minute to get this to stop!" He started to try to calm himself down, his breathing slowly going back to normal. The blackness in his veins began to retreat, but his eyes stayed a dull purple with hints of electric silver. "I…I'm sorry. I told you I was scary," he muttered
Isaac watched as someone changed appearance, he sensed something bad was going to happen. Vines began to wrap themselves around his arms and legs, him barely noticing. He felt fear twist in his stomach but pushed it down. His first priority should be to protect civilians, who he had noticed had pretty much all left.
Deley had to get used to her new form. She hated shifting, especially her newer shifts. She blames the demons.
Kaz swallowed around a lump in his throat. A dull, throbbing headache had begun as he tried his best to ignore his more violent intrusive thoughts. "I'm not violent, I swear. I'm a nice person. I don't wanna hurt anybody," he said more to himself than anyone

Cyrus’s jaw clenched slightly as he watched the black markings fade away. “Don’t worry,” he said quickly, trying to be reassuring, “I’ve seen a lot of scary things, I’m used to it.”
"I don't think so. Y-You don't know what I look like when I'm…" He struggled for words, trying to decide whether he should shut his mouth so Cyrus would only think a little badly of him or keep talking. He hated having no one to talk to, but he guessed it was his fault for scaring everyone he met off

Cyrus frowned softly and exhaled, squinting slightly when Kaz’s form flickered. “I’m not normal either, I can get pretty scary, I think,” he responded. Kaz seemed upset by his abilities, and Cyrus gave in, mentioning his own so that maybe he wouldn’t feel as bad.
//hey
I’m waiting for turtleoffreedom now. xD
(yup lol) Kaz chuckled a little. "It looks like no one in this cafe is normal."
pets
(Yep)
Cyrus gave a slight smile. He wasn’t used to someone laughing when he told people what he was. It was more of questioning or disbelief. Others had asked to see his form, then run off afterwards. “You’re right about that one.”
"If…If it's not a sensitive subject, um. What's your power?" Kaz asked, leaning back a little against the back of a chair

“Hard to tell, but I’m a Wendigo. Very uncommon, most were killed off a few hundred years ago by Native Americans,” Cyrus explained. The hunger popped back up when he spoke about the topic.
(okay um what did I miss I was in class)

(Uh a demon attacked and ripped the roof off of the café)
(where is everyone now?)
pets
(Sort of gathered in the cafe, the demon is trying to get this one person, who’s name I forget, to come with him but that person isn’t on right now so people are chatting)
(yup) "A wendigo?" Kaz felt himself become a little worried in the back of his mind. He had helped his cousin's roommate kill one a few years back, and she had said they never looked human. "I thought wendigos were…large and clawed and everything all the time," he said, trying to avoid using the word 'monster'

Cyrus shook his head slowly. “Those are the older ones. Most these days look normal, but we can shift into them. Never met another like me though,” he explained, eyes shifting around,
"Yeah. Half demons aren't born very often, and in my case there was a whole lot of crazy stuff before I was even an idea. But uh. I'm tied with the weather, particularly storms. I can control them too, sort of, but my power centers around lightning." Kaz almost immediately regretted talking about the whole demon part of his life. It sounded so ridiculous and cliche. Demon daddy issues? Really? He couldn't have been more original

“You’re a demon? That’s kind of cool, the weather stuff and all. I wouldn’t have been able to tell. Sure, you’re smell is off a little bit, but that’s pretty awesome,” Cyrus said, looking back at Kaz. It was interesting to talk to someone who had strange abilities like his. He didn’t meet many people.
"Yeah, well, it's not that cool when you accidentally grow an antler from the side of your head at 14 and you almost give your mom a heart attack when you get glow in the dark eyes," he laughed awkwardly, trying to make it seem like he didn't hate himself that much over what his existence had done to his poor mom

“Antlers huh? Glow in the dark eyes sound cool, mine just turn this weird sickly shade of red,” Cyrus said, but the color he was talking about was a darker shade of yellow. “So all that black stuff, was that something like your demon side coming out? I do that all the time, that’s how I spilled my coffee,” he said in a seemingly chatty mood, letting one of his hands grow the extremely long claws.
