Zackary glanced at her with a slight grin. “That’s what a Contract-Demon should be like. Especially in contracts like this.”
Contracts (CLOSED)
"Nah, I'm a demon." Marrin said cheerfully, causing Cam to walk backwards. "Ello" Cam said politely from where she was standing on the other side if the room.
Ryan frowned a bit more, “And what do you want this time? Some group circle where we all sing kumbaya?” Erik watched anxiously from the corner, to this day not able to figure out what was going on inside Ryan’s head.
"First off, what the hell is that meaning. Like seriously, what does it mean? Anyhow, my brother, Cam is going to talk to you while I go raid this place of jello cups." Marrin said, waving goodbye and walking out the door. "I'm sorry about her." Cam apologized to the both of them.
"That's not what I expected…." Juliet shook her head. "You scared me when you approached me. I thought you were going to ask for my soul or- or my voice or something like that….." She shrugged.
((If you get the reference, I LOVE YOU!!!))
(Little Mermaid who?)
(Ooooooooooh I get thaaaaaat hahahhahaha
My Little Mermaid, right?)
Zackary shook his head. “I fell out of demanding souls years ago. They make a good snack, but I got tired of them kinda fast.”
((I LOVE YOU BOTH Huggles))
"How old are you, anyway?" She squinted up at him, trying to gauge his actual age, looking into those gray eyes.
(THANKS I LOVE YOU TOO)
(^D^ aaaawww I love you toooooo! hugs back)
Zackary’s eyes showed no sign of his age. He winked and waved a finger. “Never ask a handsome Contract-Demon his age. You’ll never look at him the same.”
"What, you afraid I'll start walking around, calling you Grandpa Zack? Huh?" She teased. She thought some more. "Then answer me this, what does a handsome Contract-Demon do for fun?"
Zackary chuckled lowly in response. “It’d be like, great-great-great-great-great… grandpa Zack. I’m old. What I like to do for fun?” He smiled a bit. “Eat. Sleep.”
"You really old, handsome, Contract-Demons are boring." She shook her head in disappointment. She was teasing, she like the sound of his chuckle, the way he smiled.
“If you’re into that type of thing, it can be pretty amusing. Otherwise it’s just watching me lay around and sleep.” He shrugged. He was fine with sleeping and eating a ton.
"No wonder Qhuinn likes you so much, you two are more similar in more ways than one would think." She chuckled softly. "Hey, I don't mind stuffing the both of you." She shrugged.
Zackary laughed and burped a little. That one seemed to be unintentional. “Ooh. You can cook, I’ll give you that.” He grinned cutely, showing off his sharp white teeth.
Erik watched her go, eyes widened before he looked back to Ryan, who looked bored of this, “What are you actually doing, Erik?” Erik looked to Cam in slight with eyes pleading for help. I knew this wasn’t going to work…
Com shrugged. "I actually have no clue what I'm supposed to do, but I'm Cameron Corspe. You can call me Cam." He said, holding a hand out to Ryan. "You want some chocolate though?" He asks.
Juliet looked at those teeth and shook her head. "And you can eat! I'll give that…" She patted his belly. "Where did all the food go?"
Zackary gave a tiny croon in happiness, tilting his head dog-like. He seemed to be enjoying the attention.
“Human food is very nice. It is nice and nutritious, not to mention tasty. Where it goes… I dunno.” He laughed a little and shrugged.
She looked at him, mirth dancing in her eyes as she listened to him croon once more. She loved that sound. "Wish I could eat like you do. I love food." She pouted playfully before she asked. "Hey, what's that sound you make? That rough sound."
Zackary crooned happily again, shutting his eyes. “That? It’s just what I do when I’m happy or worried.” He beamed, opening his eyes again.
"Huh." She smiled. "I like it. It sounds really nice." Juliet tucked a strand of black hair behind her ear and played with the strands of her sweater.
Zackary shrugged. “It just happens sometimes. People have told me I do it in my sleep.”
"Huh. Well that's something I won't mind hearing at night." she nudged Zack playfully. She put a hand on his knee and patted it. "Welcome to the family."
Zackary grinned. “I’m not sure if it’s true, but hey. Thanks. I’m really glad to be here.”
Juliet laughed lightly, the sound slowly turning to a yawn. "I mean it. I'm glad you're here. So is Qhuinn." She told Zackary, her voice heavy with gratitude. "I can only imagine what the years to come will be like…"
Zackary put his hand on hers, smiling warmly and gazing at her, into her eyes. “I can’t wait to see. Hopefully it’s well.”
Juliet sat there a moment, taking in the sight of the awe-inspiring steel gray eyes, one lighter than the other. How much would she enjoy looking into those eyes for the rest of her life? "I have no doubt…. it will be well…"
Zackary relaxed somewhat into the bed, his shoulders dropping in posture as he gazed into her eyes calmly. They were so warm, soft, round and… human.
Sariel's eyes had since directed themselves back down to Avilasa's hand, which she pulled away from the demon once they had arrived near the restaurant. Does she not trust me? Sariel wondered, following silently alongside Avilasa. Maybe she's bothered by what I am. The blonde thought, only somewhat bothered by this. She doesn't seem to be thinking of it anyway, so you shouldn't either. Sariel told herself, giving a quiet hum of agreement as to what Avilasa had said.
(Don't worry about it, I can understand internet troubles or just being busy.)
Avi opened the door and stood back, letting Sariel pass through first. "This place makes the best chinese in my opinion." She looked at the street and saw something that made her quickly draw up the hood of her sweater. "Let's get inside. Quickly."
