Walked had simply mouthed the words barely when told to. He did that mostly during gathering, at least it looked like he was trying.

Dang, gtg. Bye)
Morrigan sang, her strong, flowing voice ringing out in the cathedral. If anything, she hated the song. However, she loved to sing.
Chysa joined in on the song. Her voice melodic, despite her hate for these lyrics.
Zoe started singing, her gentle voice floating along with others'. She loathed the lyrics, but that didn't stop from her pouring herself into her singing.

Walker kept his mouth shut tight. He would say the words and chants, but not that obnoxious song.
The song finished, and Morrigan bowed her head again.
Walker wasn't singing. Enzo had looked for him in the audience for his lack of participation, and sure enough, he wasn't singing. Enzo made a mental note to talk to the boy as soon as service ended. Walker might be in need of some… compliance therapy.

(This ain't good.)
Chrysa bowed her head as the song finished. She couldn't wait for this to be over with.

Walker slouched back against the hard seat, his eyes fixed at his hands that were folded in his lap.
"And now, the prayer. Repeat after me." Enzo recited the Goddess's prayer from heart, letting the words flow from his lips automatically. He loved the feeling of the words on his tongue. It was beautiful.
Chrysa said the prayer, it's word's burning her tongue. They felt like ash.
Morrigan dutifully repeated the prayer, successfully hiding he disgust.

Walker’s mother nudged him, and he murmured along with the rest of the group. He felt like his body was on autopilot, just going through the motions.
Pandora mouthed along, hope in her heart.
"And, as always, we will obey," Enzo finished, smiling as they repeated it. "Thank you for a wonderful service. I will see you all tomorrow at six AM for morning service."
Pandora bobbed her head along with everyone else and tried to walk calmly out of the hall.
Morrigan followed Pandora out, letting her face relax into her default after-service expression: disgust.
Enzo stayed a moment after most of his congregation had departed from the worship building. He lifted his gaze to the sky. "Dear Goddess, give me strength to do what I must," he whispered, letting the silence soothe him. He didn't want to be angry when he spoke to Walker. He took a breath and then headed outside, his eyes searching the crowd for Walker.

Walker separated from his family, beginning to make his way through the crowd.
"Walker!" Enzo called, his voice and expression the picture of calm. He strode towards where Walker was making his way through the crowd. "Can I have a word?"

Walked tensed up when he heard Priest Enzo said his name. Walker forced a polite smile as he turned to face the man. “Of course, sir.”
"How are you this evening?" Enzo began, unsmiling.

Walkers jaw clenched and he shrugged his shoulders. “I’m fine, tired but fine.” That was at least true.
"Tired?" Enzo questioned. "I could tell. You looked a bit deadpan in service today." His face remained unaltered, but his voice was cold.

“Yes, er, sorry about that..,” Walker said. It chilled him to the bone to know that Enzo had been watching him personally. “I’ll make sure to go to bed early so I won’t be tired at tomorrow’s service.”
