Ruby groaned, “Seriosuly? Are they stalking us?”

Ash didn't really know where she was going. The area was unfamiliar and Ash didn't like unfamiliar. She wandered around the streets, resisting the urge to whistle or join a group of people singing My Chemical Romance on the street corner.
"You're far from safety, aren't you?" a voice rang out from behind her, making her stop in her tracks.
"Um. No, I totally want to be here," Ash replied, slowly turning around and backing away from the man, who was wearing a trench coat and looking very ominous.
"Be careful where you walk, child of Apollo," the man cackled, before disappearing.
"UMMMMM," Ash muttered, walking quickly towards where the station was. Ms-Tipping-Lady and Ms-I-Can't-Remember-Your-Nickname-Lady where there, looking like they were unwilling to talk to Black-Sock-Lady and Sam.
She walked towards Sami. "What was that? You sent whatever I just ran into after me! What the heck?" Ash accused.

Ruby lightly slammed her face onto the table.

“Sure… Wait we had homework?” Ruby asked.

"It was probably some form of monster or god, the former being more likely." Sami answered nonchalantly, ordering her ice cream.

"Um. Remember when I told you I don't believe in fairy tales?" Ash asked, sighing.
"They aren't fairy tales," both Sam and Black-Sock-Lady said at the same time.
