Same, but only I’m gonna have to go in about 20 but I’ll be back as soon as I can be.
Alright. I'll put in a starter for everybody.
Luca sighed, shivering in the cold wind. It was cloudy and dismal in New York, as it had been for the past week or so. He took a sip of his hot coffee, closing his eyes for a moment to savor the taste and warmth.
Tanrial shivered in her coat, standing in the back of an ally way as to create some warmth for herself without being noticed. The coffee shop over the road looked warm but she couldn’t spend her money on something she didn’t really need.
Lux walked down the New York streets, ever ready, he tugged the collar of his jacket, drawing it against his back.
Tanrial wandered out of the street, making sure all her weapons and supplies were in her bag. She huddled in the warmth of her coat as she began wandering the streets.

Xander strolled the streets, trying desperately to keep warm. He saw a few buildings of course, which he could have ducked into for a little bit: a coffee shop, a clothing store, and a bar. However, he didn't currently have the funds to make any sort of purchase, so he feared he would be kicked out. He looked back at the clothing store. At least there, he could pretend to shop and then just leave.
Luca drained the rest of his coffee. He sighed, glancing over at the coffee shop across from him. Guess it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more shots of espresso. He walked in, hands shoved in his pockets, and shoes squeaking loudly on the tile floor.

Xander quickly changed his mind upon smelling the coffee's scent drifting from the cafe about a block down. He sifted through his pocket for change, and found he would probably be a little short. However, he still came into the shop. He eyed the tip jar, and from a distance began to manipulate the shadows near it to bring himself enough coins to buy a hot drink. He hoped no one saw and sank into line. Xander ordered a regular coffee with milk and sugar, then sat down somewhere to warm himself. He clasped his freezing hands around the cup.

Tanrial decided to grab some coffee anyway, scrambling for some change. She grabbed a small coffeee and sat in the back, tying to keep it of the way of everybody. She knew she shouldn’t have spent some of her money but she hadn’t eaten or drunk for a few days and in this weather she knew it would help her.

(Xander just walked into that coffee shop and stole money. Lol I kind of set it up for an interaction.)
Tanrial noticed the shadows the guy had created and decided to send her own back towards him, making a coin and a tip jar telling him she knew he stole.

Xander accidentally made eye contact with Tanrial, then looked away immediately. His grip tightened on his cup.
She smirked as he looked away, she sent another, this time with a couple coins to replace the ones he took. It wouldn’t hurt to be kind for once. She ignored him, trying to look innocent

Xander's heart was pounding. He was fully prepared to get up and leave if she approached. For now, he pulled out his sketchbook and acted as if nothing had happened, but remained vigilant.
Luca glanced up, hearing the clinking of coins and seeing shadows. Two people were looking back and forth between each other. He could tell they were demons, most likely stealing. Luca scoffed and rolled his eyes.
She finished her coffee and stood up, she grabbed a few coins and replaced hem in the tip jar before. Tanrial smiled at the barista before going to stand outside.

Xander then noticed Luca, who had seen them both, and he started panicking a little bit. He accidentally broke the lead of his pencil off on the paper. It was probably best for him to leave, he thought, but he still needed the warmth of the building for the time being.
Tanrial was willing to stand in the cold if it meant talking to the guy in there. She wanted to know who he was and why he would steal.
Luca heard the snap of the lead, and his pointed ears twitched. He glanced over at the guy out of the corner of his eye, then went back to drinking his coffee as if nothing had happened. It was none of his business anyway. But it would be fun to mess with him, he thought, smirking and glancing over at the guy again.

Having lost track of Tanrial, Xander could only focus on Luca. He suddenly put away his things, got up and went out the front door, only to see Tanrial standing there. He picked up the pace, acted like he didn't see her, and kept going.
Tanrial stood against the window and noticed the other guy smirk at the other. He saw something and with that look, was going to bring trouble.
“Hey!” She called after him.

"What?" Xander asked. He stopped, but didn't turn around, "You've been watching me like a hawk. What do you want?"
Luca frowned, standing up and following the guy. When he got outside, he saw that the man was walking away quickly, and the girl that had been inside earlier was standing outside the door.
“Why did you steal?” She was now walking in step with him, “You didn’t have to.’

"You're right. I didn't have to. I never have to. I could just starve and be left to rot, and no one would care," Xander replied sadly.
Luca stepped toward the two of them, rolling his eyes. "Calm down, edgelord," he said. "Look, I don't care if you steal, but I'm going to let you know right now, you need to learn how to be sneakier."
