I'm curious as to how this would go…Could I join? I have a character that might work (Idk if we're supposed to ask or not…)

Name: Rykah
Age: 13-15
Gender: male
Sexuality: Bi… (I'm not entirely sure cause he's still pretty new, but I know he might be a bit more attracted to guys more then girls…)
Looks: Tall, thin, fairly muscular for his age. His eyes are a vibrant violet color, rimmed with silver. His hair is messy, medium length, and is a dark red, with streaks of violet. He has darker skin. Also note that he has Wolf ears, tail, and wings (feathered), all of which share the same colorings as hair. His teeth also have noticible canines.
He can usually be found wrapped up in an oversized hoodie and a pair of cargo pants and sneakers.
Personality: Shy, very shy. He can appear aggressive or rude as a cover to someone he's just met, but in truth he is very shy, caring, intelligent, and creative. Loud noises and fighting will scare him, but he is very loyal, and will always stay with those he cares for.
Background: Technically speaking he's from a different world that he can't get back to, this world is more or less dying due to a WHOLE lot of plot related stuff. When he was 10 his city became unsafe because of incoming invading black ooze, (To put it simply) and a certain sect of people on his world who had wings were taking ground citizens up to the various sky islands for safety. One of those teams lost one of it's men, and Rykah, along with a couple of other kids were recruited to help take the guy's place. Rykah was the only survivor of the flight, due to the ooze's ability to attack. Rykah crash landed on one of the smaller flying islands and because of some of the other properties of the ooze, and the distance to the other islands, he was never able to get back. He is also a powerful Dark and light fire elemental, which is how he was able to get to another world, when he tried to open a portal to another island. Now he spends his time trying to survive, and maybe find a way home.

Note that when he crashed on the island he was left injured for a long time, his left leg is scarred black, and he will have nightmares about what happened.
Other: He is 1/4 wolf, and 3/4 human. Because of his wolf blood he has a better sense of smell, hearing, and eyesight, andhe has better stamina/endurance.

Sexuality: Pansexual
Looks: They're about average height, ranking in at 5'6. Striking baby blue eyes and a beautifully tanned complexion dotted with moles. Delicate overall body but they're packing quite a bit of muscle underneath. They have shorty wavy pulled around and dyed a messy orange, pink, and purple mix. (Wears plain t-shirt blouses and jeans.)
Personality: ESFP-A, they're the life of the party! Everyone looks down on them for being exceedingly optimistic, a few berated them for this… lets say those people never "looked" again.
Extremely air heady and never able to take anything seriously. The type of person to make stupid puns over and over and be a general fun-loving pest. Clumsier then a puppy in an earthquake, it's a wonder how they've survived.
Also extremely demented, the type to pull someone apart limb by limb while laughing.
Background: Well~ They're from an alternate universe where America was nuked and thrown into war but I really don't want to have to deal with this in a roleplay, so just kinda forget that the other world was ever nuked…

Name: Melanie Rodriguez

Sexuality: Bisexual (leans towards guys more than girls)
Looks: Melanie is 5'3.5" and about 120lbs. Her body is more stout than curvy, and she has a mix of light and dark brown layered hair that, at it's full length, can reach the middle of her back. She has a sharp, angular face, and a RBF (resting b- face (Idk if we're allowed to swear or not…)). Melanie's most likely to be seen in leggings, a shirt of some kind, and maybe a jacket, all in darker colors, and some of her clothing has seen better days.
Personality: Melanie judges people too quickly usually, and it's usually negatively. She doesn't like to socialize, but she's had some practice in acting, so she knows how to sound appealing when she despises someone. She has a huge temper, and she absolutely hates it whenever she's proven wrong. She's smart, and at a young age she learned quickly how to pay for her own education. She comes off as hard to people who she doesn't know as well as friends to hide her insecurities of being made fun of or insulted.
Background: Melanie came from a less-than-loving family, with her mother not caring for her after her father died when Melanie was only 10. From then on, Melanie had to do things by herself while her mother drank and spent more and more time away from her daughter. Melanie found things out the hard way, learning by trial and error. She paid for her own clothes, education, and groceries. She had only one friend, and she had to move away to Maine recently, hundreds of miles away from where she lived. Melanie couldn't afford a drivers' license, let alone a car, so she walked, took a bus, took a taxi, or, on a rare occasion, had her upset, grumbling, (most likely) drunk mother drive her to get herself to where she wanted to go. The only valuables Melanie has is her mother's old phone, an iphone 6, and a stainless steel ring with the words, She Believed She Could So She Did. She uses music to drown out her surroundings, and she likes to read, write, and draw. She also likes animals, and loves both cats and dogs.

Looks: Short, pale skin, curvy with an hourglass shape but hides it under oversized hoodies, her face is perfect and smooth save for the jagged scar that goes from the arch of her right eyebrow to the corner of her jaw and narrowly misses her right eye, gray-green eyes, wavy strawberry blonde hair that falls down to her hips but it's usually unbrushed and held up in a messy ponytail
Personality: Can be blunt or extremely sarcastic depending on her mood, confident, very opinionated, logical and will always try to avoid physical fighting and magic using, doesn't like to talk about her past, calls people out on their bullshit all of the time, can often see right through people's lies (but not always)
Background: Ack I don't have it written down anywhere so I'm just gonna keep this vague. Basically she grew up with parents who were obsessed with the idea of her becoming the head warlock of the city, and pushed her to train all day, everyday, starting the day she turned 4. Eventually she got very ill, but her parents wouldn't let her stop training. This made her illness much worse, and as she got weaker, her body and powers were both severely damaged. When she was 17, she finally decided it was time to run away from home because she couldn't take the abuse anymore. It was almost too late. She ended up collapsing in an alley. She was saved by a 14 year old homeless warlock, who took her to an abandoned building and healed her. They survived together on the streets for years, until they decided to fix up the abandoned building and turn it into a convenience store that doubled as a living space for them.
Other: She's a dark warlock. Some call her a witch. She can harvest the life force of anything that's living and convert its energy into anything she wants to using spells, chants, rituals, etc. She cannot completely drain the life force out of anything, however, and she cannot use its life force to replenish her own health.
