It was midsummer. Though even with it being the middle of summer, it was cool out. It was noon, most were out at work. Foot traffic around town wasn't heavy at all, neither was the road.

Rykah sighed as he sat down in a booth at a diner. His hoodie was up, covering all of his features that would be considered unnatural by humans, and he ordered in a quiet and calm, yet harsh voice. "Country fried steak. Hold the gravy. Thanks." He watched the waiter walk away, checking his notepad every so often.
