Well, I grew up in this village. There was a girl who found my egg in a wagon that had crashed on the side of the road- presumably a good to be sold by poachers. She took me home and took care of the egg, and then she raised me. She married young and her husband helped take care of me. I was big and strong enough to ride by the time I was two years old, and so she began taking me on patrols. Eventually, I became a battle dragon as she and her husband trained to become dragon knights. As time drew on, we became closer. Then, they had a son, who was basically raised like my brother. For a while, the family settled down, and we just lived in the village, free of any worry, up until my parents were called to fight in a king's war. I was the only one who made it back, and ever since, I have bonded with the woman's son.
Aurelius looked away from everyone else. She was obviously talking about him.

"Awe, that so cute, I mean the whole family part of course." Mara thought having people that cared about you was awesome, she never really got the whole family thing, but that's fine. we can it just takes a connection, for instance. she looked to Arioch even though he is sleeping i can tell he's a little stressed, we haven't had a new rider in a while.

"So, he's stressed because of me?" She looked over at Arioch. "I don't mean to stress him out, seriously, I'm not a bad person I'm a bit naive and I don't know much but.." Mara laid her head on the back of Riven's neck. Calm down, you're freaking out too much.

he's not stressed about you, he's always been stressed it's just a little more stressed due to a new comer and what it might bring she looked to Mara don't worry ever since we were ambushed he's been stressed trying to make sure it doesn't happen again.

"You were ambushed?" What kind of work do these people do? Riven was also very curious and scared. What do you guys do exactly? Mara was to scared to ask, but thank goodness Riven wasn't.

don't worry, that was a more extreme mission, a group of dragon hunters ambushed us, one got me pretty good she lifted her wing to show a scar but don't worry i'm fine, Arioch is trying to make me armor which i find sweet but, i don't think i'll be able to fly with it on.

"Not all of us fight," Aurelius reassured Riven, "I don't typically. Usually the elders are against it because of some of my past blunders. Jobs are the same here as they are anywhere else for the most part, except our village is filled with dragons."

"Why doesn't he just use a light material? Sure it may not be as good and it might brake, but if it makes it so you get injured less then I think it will work." Mara covered her mouth, she's interfering too much.

Want to see how fast I am? Riven was dying to push his limits and see how fast he could go. Mara wanted to know as well.

When Riven took off Mara knocked off and went flying backwards. She tumbled to the ground, she didn't bother to stand and just laid face down on the ground. "That's the second time that I was thrown off his back." She didn't realize he was that fast though. Her head rested in her hands. "He'll be back."

Zuriel Quickly grabbed Mara and put her on the saddle hold on tight she bolted slowly closing the distance between them

Ysethen and Farron soared above, Farron kept a watchful eye on their surroundings and on the dragons bellow. He sighed.

Quincy and Jade went off from the main group back to their home. Quincy placed the Glistenlace into her drying room so they would last longer. She let out a long sigh before,looking back at Jade, "Should I go back to talk to the new girl?"

She has a name you know, Jade pointed out as Quincy went to get changed into a dress.

"Yeah I know. Just forgot it that's all."

"Thank you." Mara was more in awe then she was mad. Riven was definitely faster, his body was built for it. He was smaller and his wings were small and thin so they didn't get in the way. "Go Riven!" Mara shouted and threw her fist in the air.

he's a little faster than i expected. she pushed herself to go just a little faster trying to close the gap.

Ysethen soars downwards until they were hovering above Zuriel and Mara, casting a shadow over them both.

Nox stopped gliding slowly and began soaring to keep pace with Riven. She let out a spray of blue fire and sparks, overcome by excitement as she barreled towards the village. Aurelius gripped onto her ridges tightly and dug his knees into her side to keep from falling; he had not expected her to take off so fast.

Arioch didn't know what Zuriel was doing but he didn't want to complain "Come on Zuriel you can go faster than this." Zuriel flapped her wings once giving her a good boost to catch up to Riven "Atta girl, we can beat this Drake."

Valkyrie was standing at the edge of the village below. She had been practicing hitting a training dummy with her halberd, doing fancy swings and spins- all the things she would probably never need on dragonback but she found fun anyway. Valhalla was curled up several feet away, watching her train alone, up until he saw the other riders coming up the horizon. His yellow gaze moved over to them.
Looks like patrol's back. And they brought company. He said.
Valkyrie turned her face to the sky. "It appears they have. I wonder who it is."
She stuck the tip of her weapon into the dirt and leaned on the handle slightly.

"uh….. Mara" he looked back to Mara "you might want to call him back, he's heading right into the city…."

"Riven stop!" Immediately he stopped. Mara jumped off of (I forgot who she was on.) And ran over to Riven. "That was amazing!" She hugged him, a bright smile on her face. Yeah, I know.

Zuriel quickly stopped well then, that was…. more exhausting than i expected Arioch chuckled "i think that was entertaining."

Nox touched down to the ground. By now, they were all at the edge of the village, near where Valkyrie was training. She held her halberd to the side and began to walk towards Mara. Aurelius slid off of Nox’s back and tried to greet Valkyrie, but she brushed him off and kept walking.
