Once they got a hotel room, Rylan sat down on the edge of the bed. She untied her dark hair and let it fall to her shoulders.

Santiago walked in sand set his bag down on the other bed. “I have shirts and sweatpants in there if you want to change into those. They may be big on you, but it’s better than those wet clothes. I’ll go call Flynn,” he said and took out his cellphone, dialing Flynn’s number.

Rylan took the clothes and walked towards the bathroom. After a couple minutes, she came out in a new shirt and sweatpants. They were a little big, but better than the clothes she had before. She sat down to Santiago.

Santiago sat on the edge of his bed, the phone held up to his ear as he waited.
Flynn heard her phone sound on her right pocket of her pants, confused as who should it be, she picked up "Hello? Who is this?" She asked as she waited for an answer on the other line

“Flynn? It’s Santiago,” He said quickly, his foot tapping the floor anxiously. He really hoped that she wouldn’t immediately tell Alec that he was on the other line.
Flynn froze "Santiago what are you doing?!" She screamed whispered as she went to the bathroom so no one would hear "You are in so much trouble, Alec is going strangle you" She said once she reached the bathroom

Rylan leaned over, listening to the conversation. She tapped her fingers on her knee nervously.

“I honestly have no idea, it was a spur of the moment decision, but there is no way I’m coming back there now,” Santiago said. “I had to take Rylan and get out of there, he changed the execution date.”

Rylan looked up at Santiago, her gaze questioning. She continued to tap her fingers on her knee nervously. {If Flynn tells her commander, it will be your fault if Santiago gets hurt.} Rylan told herself.
Flynn frowned, "Why aren't you coming back? what do you know about her that made you change your mind?" Flynn froze, something passed trough her mind but decided she will talk that topic with him once they meet face to face

She looked at Santiago and spoke up. "Hey Flynn, this is Rylan. I told him about my past, and we were hoping you could meet up with us."

She sighed in relief and glanced at Santiago. "We're in 'Frisco. Tomorrow night at ten, meet us in Union Square." {Hopefully this doesn't go terribly wrong. . .} Rylan thought to herself.

“You disagreed with Alec’s method of execution. It’s obvious that you don’t agree with what he’s doing. At least consider it,” Santiago said.
"Yeah I know.. I'll take a car, I will take any trackers off and I will say that Im going to patrol an area opposite to where Im going, maybe I can even put fake proves that I was there, maybe like trowing some of my stuff? Like I disappeared or something? To keep them busy while I go there?" Flynn asked waiting for an approval

“Not necessarily. Maybe some clothes for Rylan, mine are kind of big on her,” Santiago explained.
"Alright, count on me" Flynn hung up and went to look for what Santiago asked to then put her plan in motion

Rylan looked towards the window. The sun had already begun to set and it was already getting dark. She ran a hand through her hair anxiously and sat on the edge of her bed. Tomorrow would be when they would meet up with Flynn. Hopefully nothing would happen.
