A small orange cat scampered into the room, and Harlow scooped her up. “Guys, meet Margarita,” she said, showing the cat off to Rylan.

She laughed and raised a brow. "A cat? And where did you get one of those?"
“I found her outside one day. Her name is Margarita because I really wanted a drink at the time.”
//it’s occurred to me that we could totally make this into a legitimate story because all it has in common with legend is the world and that’s easily changed slightly

Santiago shook his head when Rylan asked who had messaged him, murmuring that’d he would tell her later. He smiled when he saw the cat, but slightly kept his distance from it, having a slight allergy to cats.

Santiago felt his phone buzz in his jacket, but he didn’t take it out this time. He clenched his jaw, doing his best to ignore it.

Rylan glanced at Santiago and recognized his unease. She turned back towards Harlow.
"If you don't mind," She started. "I just wanted to get some stuff for disguises with Santiago."

Santiago glanced at Rylan and hesitantly nodded. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and watched the two, biting his lower lip.
“Of course! All the hair dye is in here, but there are some more in depth stuff like clothes and contacts (though I have only two pairs) down the hall.”
