(danggg Kodiak is important all of a sudden)
Dystopian RP?
Before Yuki made it out of the building she felt something pulling her in the other direction. Must be my imagination, she thought. No, it was really pulling her. She walked down the hallway in the opposite direction, walking past Petree. Her feet seemed to take her random directions. Where am I going, she thought. Then, suddenly it dawned on her. She was walking to her old cell and the room she was once badly tortured. No! Yuki didn’t want to see it. It would bring back so many painful memories. For some reason, though, she was walking back to it.
(guys this is soooo cooool!)
(Yeah. You still awake for long?)
(All night)
(I’ll be awake for a little longer. Past 2am and I have school tomorrow.)
(Crazy! You should be sleeping! I work overnights.)
(I should be sleeping. I’m just a crazy person.)
Armand wandered the center's walls. He crossed his hands behind his back and he sauntered, listening to the mechanical sounds and people shuffling here and there. He thought. He questioned himself. President Harrison started out her term with good intentions, truly good, but when this whole rebellion started, things went awry. After his younger self was captured and shown to be an example, Harrison herself was rallying for her citizens who stayed loyal. Including him. But after Armand was healthy.. Harrison had demands. And those demands had been reckless at times.
Yuki opened to door to her old cell. The cell was little bent out of shape. Even it couldn’t hold her forever. Yuki remembered it all. Just like her shirt, she had scribbled all over the walls of her cell. No matter how much she was tortured, she would never stop rebelling. Many of the words were covered up with blood. Her eyes drifted to the words she had written on the very top of the wall. She wrote it at the very top so less blood would cover the words. It read, I live for the death of President Harris. That was the only reason she was still living, for death. For death of President Harris and her evil followers. After she learned Armand had a similar story, she felt a little different about the followers of President Harris. She thought maybe not all of them were evil. He certainly didn’t seem evil. Their lives were similar. She walked over to the shattered mirror. She had shattered that mirror. Finally, she couldn’t take all the memories this place had brought. Yuki ran out of the room and down the hallway, passing the old torture room. She had to punch something. That would make her feel better, right?
May I Join as My oc Rose?
(Sure, just add a physical description and whether she's with the Smoke Society under President Harris or a Rebel, and have her come in somewhere it would make sense in the story. :3)
(That's so good holy crap how do u post pictures?? I sketched Nyir and even though its not as good as yours I wanna post it!)
(@SincereBeastie that's amazing! You're such a talented artist!)
(I want to see your drawing of Nyir! Personally I used a link from posting it in Discord but you could use the URL of the photo anywhere I think. Thank you guys so much! >w<)
(I’m on school WiFi and can’t access it right now, but I’ll check it out later)
(Are we still roleplaying?)
(Yeah)
(I feel like no one knows where to pick back up maybe)
(Definitely, Rowan's asleep right now so unless I have her dream or something there's not much I have to write)
(Armand does have a plan to do with Rowan but I didn't want to jump back in because I'd already posted a couple times extra and was going to wait for others.)
(Also I think Oakie's camping(?) and is gonna have a hard time responding for a bit, we can pretend we're still waiting to hear back, also, maybe Yuki and Armand can accidentally cross each other in the halls, and have a bit of a conversation.)
(Ok sure. Wanna start? I posted last.)
(Sure)
Armand heard loud footsteps from the old restricted cells and it's respective rooms. Wondering why anyone would travel down those condemned halls he wandered down himself, knowing this place was not sound of mind and soul, not healthy for the sanity of those who tread it. He walked past the most disheveled cell, the cell honored by many rebels.. The "Kill Harri" cell. He took a gaze at it, the smell pushing him away after only a few moments. He walked in his rhythmic pace past the place, past the old terrifying equipment. He saw her silhouette. "This area is restricted, I condemned it 347 days ago, nearly a year. No center workers or it's residents are allowed back here due to medical reasons." His hands were in his pockets, his golden eyes glowing slightly as they whirred in his head. Wait.. is that her?
Yuki didn’t respond at first. She didn’t know how to respond. Finally, she took a deep breath and said, “It’s the same as it was years ago.”
"Because I couldn't stand it here." Armand took a breath. The fear that stuck to this place clung to him. "And the rebels.. those who would lose hope see it as a sort of.. victory." his pace resumed for a moment until he stood next to her, gazing at the cracked pieces of glass on the ground. "Doctor Phyllis was gone. There was no saving him, and we couldn't let this continue. I just hope that when I reach this point, someone will put me out of my misery. It's no way to live."
Yuki looked down. “I’m not really in the mood to talk about this.”, she said. Yet, she was glad she had someone to talk to about it. Armand would understand what she had gone through.
"Are you sure? You've been alone. I have too. I know we aren't exactly on the same team, but I understand your thoughts." Armand's face didn't change, it wasn't easy anyways, so he typically didn't. It was better just to look apathetic to the world around you, that way people wouldn't analyze you for what you're worth.
