He smiled a little, chuckling at her as he pulled his arms back. "So.. What are you going to do?" he asked, the happiness dampened. "What will I need to do?"
Dystopian RP?
"Well the answer's simple." Nyir drew in a deep breath through her nose, steadying herself. "we've got to put Kodiak under the truth serum and have him give a recorded confession."
"Be prepared for twisted truths.. Make sure you have the right questions prepared." he would think of a few himself, already knowing one of the questions he'd need to ask. He started for the room again, pushing past the soldiers, the room now nearly completely repaired, the room's repair drones hanging from the ceiling welding pieces back together and materializing destroyed foundations. "Rowan, how are you feeling, not too hot any longer?" He didn't pay attention to much else, he wasn't strong enough to assist in detaining the rebels, his body couldn't keep up engaged in battle.
Rowan nodded, but she was watching her surroundings with concern. "Where are Petree and Yuki?" She asked. She took a deep breath, her leg was sending searing pain up her spine and throughout her body. The IV had helped a little, but not nearly enough.

Yuki sat in a lonely prison cell. But, she wasn’t lonely. She was used to being lonely She remembered what the people of President Harris had done to her. She would never forget being tortured and thrown into a prison like this for being a freak. At least she could break through this cell too.
As Armand disappeared from her view, Nyir steadied herself. She had to find Kodiak. The truth serum couldn't wait.
(I like how I went into this all "Oh Armand's sooo evil, such a villain" but look at him hug people and care.)
Kodiak paced nervously up and down the hallway, anxious to get this over with to protect his friends. Where is Nyir?
They spotted each other at roughly the same time. Nyir glared at him, trying to appear stern, as she crossed the hallway to meet him. "Lieutenant Kodiak," she said, "are you prepared to undergo the truth serum? Dr. Watt and I will be questioning you."
Dr. Armand Watt sat in his chair, thinking pensively to himself. I need to start this testing, it's experimental, but necessary. I have to. He looked over his notes again, again, and once more. Everything had to be so painful. He knew first hand the darkest side of science, and though determined he was to keep it at bay, it seemed the only viable option. He wanted to think of something else. He focused on the interrogation, and what questions he'd ask, though he wasn't much more fond of that topic, either.
"It's not like I have a choice," he growled. "You ready for a come-to-Jesus meeting?"
She didn't respond. Her teeth were clenched too tightly for her to speech. She just nodded brusquely and motioned towards Armand's office in an "after you" gesture.
Kodiak shuffled in silence to Armand's office, deep in thought. He was a goner, he knew, but maybe he could still try to save everyone else.
Nyir trailed in after him, her eyes meeting Armand's. He looked as grim as she felt. She lowered her gaze and sat next to him at his desk, motioning for Kodiak to sit on the other side. "Do your think, Dr. Watt," she instructed, her voice unusually muted.
Kodiak sighed softly and looked deep into Armand's eyes. "Go."
Armand looked back, unblinkingly. "How are you today, Kodiak?" He smiled slightly, before opening his desk with a couple keys and pulling out an injection. "Vein please. Sit in that chair there." he looked to his friend Nyir solemnly, and back to Kodiak. He just didn't have a very good feeling about all of this. (I'll answer back as soon as I can I'm just about off work.)
"I'm doing as good as you people will let me do," Kodiak replied, flicking out his right arm in a feminine sweep. "You shouldn't have any problems, sir."
He gripped Kodiak's wrist at first, then softened his hold. He was a smarta** but.. He found the blue vein on the inside of his arm and paused with the needle. "Kodiak.. Well. I hope we can work as allies again someday." He meant it, though Kodiak probably wouldn't think so. "You had us rooting for you." He slid the needle in and injected the serum. "So, you know how this mutes a section in your prefrontal cortex that creates stories or fabrication."
"How long until it kicks it?" Nyir asked, her eyes glued to Kodiak's face. "I have a hell of a lot of questions and I want to get this over with."
*kicks in (I have so many typos recently sryyy)
"Don't worry, sugar. It's not like I was ever going to lie in the first place." Kodiak did his best to smirk deifantly at her, but a bead of sweat appeared in his brow and he began to panic, hoping desperately his friends would be safe after he said all they could make him.
"Typically around thirty seconds. We'll give it about a minute, I will ask the test questions, and you will begin your interrogation." he checked his watch.
What an awkward silence. "Alright, Kodiak, are you ready?" Armand pulled his device with both notes and recorder, beginning the recording just before he asked the first question.
