"I'll not be too impressive," he mildly chuckled, falling quiet for a tense moment of focus. Then, all he did was step up onto an invisible soap-box of air, then quickly step back down. The act was hardly anything compared to the others, but it seemed all he could really do without breaking focus or becoming tired.

Eveys not really popular/snobby, she just pushes herself very hard and expects everyone else to too. She had a bad first impression with Zoe, which can be fixed with a simple apology. (Dunno If Zoe would do that) and since she had a bad impression of her, she’s just hating on everything she does now (she was actually very impressed by Zoe’s performance)
