"when did you start to… like me? Im assuming its after Amara left." she stared up into his eyes, not wanting to look away and ruin it. she was actually getting something that didnt feel real. "About the look…i was just so shocked that you actually decided to kiss me, I…wasnt sure if you.. if the kiss was real. I was afraid that if i closed my eyes you would disapear and it would turn out to be fake." hearing it and saying it made her fluster up again. she wished she wouldnt fluster so much. "I dont know what it is either, but i would also like to see where it goes." she wasnt very confident in that statement but meant it all the same

Alister must’ve dozed off, because the next thing he remembered was Noel tapping his shoulder.
“Dude, they just went without us. Oh, I think they kissed before that.”
Not wanting to disturb Evan, he refrained from sitting up. Still he blinked with surprise. “Really? What about Amara?”
“Ali, that was a long time ago. I don’t think she’s coming back. And who cares? They left without us!”
“Ah, right. Um, Evan? Did you hear that?” He tapped his shoulder as well.

Ignis sat next to her and looked up. He closed his eyes, "I've always liked you. But it was when my shadow secret was revealed when I knew. Amara just left, and you didn't. Plus, my memories with Darkness and Ignatius. How they felt. It was real when you didn't run. I know that sounds wrong and stupid, but Amara only loved me because I could do more than any being. I could protect her and spoil her. To be honest, that was never real."

Evan had dozed off as well, sleeping peacefully before his shoulder was taped he mumbled something and went to rub his eyes opening them slightly. "Hm?" he didnt hear anything of what they said.

she watched as he talked, before eventually letting her legs lay out in front of her, hearing the lull of his voice. It was very soothing on her ears, making it feel real and also impossible at the same time.
"I would never run." she spoke out, staring back down at her hands, having gone back to having her knees up. "i dont think its wrong or stupid, its your feelings. What you feel is valid, even if i think your stupid for liking me." it made her lips quirk up as she made at joke at her expense. "That isnt a real relationship, i dont want to hate amara.I also dont want to lie, I dislike her. I was immediately jealous of how close you guys were. How close she was too you." she sighed looking up before chuckling a little bit even though it was dry. "i thought i hated you at first, hated you more then anything. I realized how stupid that was when the thought of you…you leaving..permantly…i couldnt…" she stumbled over her words, cursing herself inwardly. "Amara was stupid to leave you.."

“I think we fell asleep,” his face started to redden a little as he said it. “They left without us.”
Noel had a dangerous grin on her face. “Can I do something?”

Before he could stop her, she yelled, “Evan, get up! Ignis said you and Ali were making out! Are you gonna take that?”
“Noel!” He whisper-yelled. Red bloomed on his cheeks.

"we fell asleep?..sorry you were really comfortable." he blushed before seeing alister's head turn towards noel and he looked towards noel and read her lips. "UM B-but W-We Werent! W-we-" He didnt continue realizing ignis was indeed gone. He was speechless, he just kinda covered his embarrssed face with his hands

She howled with laughter. “His face! His face! It’s priceless!”
“I’m surprised he could read your lips that well. They were flying all over the place.” Alister said dryly.
“Oh my god, I forgot about that,” she wheezed. (Unintentional reference)
She continued laughing, standing and wandering around at this point. Alister’s face hadn’t cooled down, and his mouth was pulled into a thin line, in a kind of ‘welp’ expression. He tapped Evan on the shoulder again.
“Um, Evan… can you get off my chest? Let’s get going.”

He got to his feet. Rubbing his neck with one hand and other held out, he chuckled nervously. “It’s alright, it’s alright. C’mon.”
Trying to let him know he wasn’t mad or embarrassed, he took his hand and they walked towards the temple. Noel followed, quiet but with a goofy grin on her face.

Evan held onto alister's hand with his own and used one hand to half cover his still flustered face. "Right." he waked with him towards the temple.

When they got inside, Noel’s grin was replaced with a focused stare. “Ok. I can’t see them anywhere. We can’t use a ball of light again… hmm.” She turned to Evan uncertainly. It wasn’t likely to work, but it was worth a try… She made gestures to go along with her words.
“Hey Evan, do you think you can use echolocation to find Kali and Ignis? Or is your power still diminished?”
Alister perked up. “Ooh, that’s a good idea.”

"that's a really good idea, unfortunately, my powers are still gone." He frowned, reminded once again how useless- how much of a burden- he sighed. He was trying to keep his thoughts positive and it just wasn't working. "wish I could help."

Ignis hugged Kali and pulled her close. He just lied there until their dispute was forgotten. Ignis lived this feeling he felt with Kali, to just rest an enjoy the moment. When he opened his eyes for a second, he was shocked and terrified to see Ignatius staring at him. Once Ignis and Ignatius locked eyes, Ignatius began to walk near the entrance of the temple. Ignis picked Kali up and looked into her eyes, "Our ancestors call us…"

“Ahh, it’s okay. Just an idea.” Noel looked back to the darkening temple. The siblings then shivered as they felt a stir in the air.
“What…” Alister gulped. Lowering his voice, he asked, “What was that? Should we… stay here?”
“I don’t know…” his sister peered into the darkness, her eyes wide.

she hugged tight to him, she closed her eyes just feeling his warmth. she enjoyed the moments they sat together and just enjoyed the others company. she opened her eyes as ignis grab her hands and pulled her up, staring into her eyes as she stared at his. "Then lets go." she had a passing thought abutleaving the others behind, but didn't bring it up and ruin the moment. sorry guys.

Ignis and Kali tried to follow Ignatius but Ignis saw Noel, Alister, Evan enter the temple, "What the hell are you doing back here?!"

Alister made a sharp intake of breath. “Oh gosh, you scared me. We, um… fell asleep.”
He rubbed his neck nervously.
“I would’ve followed you, but it looked like you guys were having a lover’s quarrel.” Noel crossed her arms over her chest. “What are you doing here? We felt something stir the air.”

Ignis pointed at himself and Kali, "We have darkness, but you almost got killed by corrupted water! You can't be here! You can't access the shadow realm and I will not hold your hand!"

"Ignis calm down." she turned back towards the others. "Not much we can say other then leave the temple, or else bad things will happen and we will not baby sit you and your deaf friend." she didnt mean it like an insult, she was just saying he would be a liability to himself this way. she turned back towards where ignatius was going. "Well we warned them, lets go." she spoke to ignis.

He proceeded the rest of the way in the shadow realm. They wondered through the hall until Ignatius walked into a wall. Ignis was confused and quite surprised, "The hell?"

“Yikes, okay.” Noel made a gesture like she was pushing the situation away from herself. “Never mind, c’mon. They’re seeing the Fire dude again.”
“Sorry Ignis! We weren’t sure what was… going on…” her brother’s voice lowered as it continued. “Oh no, why am I tearing up?”
He tried to wave it off with shaky laugh, but it didn’t work. Gosh, why am I like this? I thought… He was stupid, running back to the place where the corrupted water was. Why did he even consider going back there?
Noel patted his shoulder. “C’mon, let’s wait outside. It’s better than the stuffy, dark temple anyway.” Her eyes were hard as she led the boys outside.

"Yes we'll if someone who's usually a pretty nice person reacts out of stress and worry then I suppose they deserve that moment," she sighs. "Ignis Im going to die anytime soon, and I'm not letting you die on me either." She huffed at him flicking his forehead. She saw as he walked through the wall and she walked over to the wall attempting to go through it.

Evan glared at ignis, seeing his tears. But then Kali mentioned "baby-sitting your deaf friend" and that kind of hit home, a little two close and soon he was crying as well but trying his best to wipe them away as quick as he could following them out.
