"I rarely joke. And I am not joking now." Death said.
Will groaned, “But that would be so embarrassing.”

(Bye!)
(I'm back!)
(Hi)
(HI!)
"Okee." Quoth hopped onto a chair and started pecking at the lace. "Do you think ya actually have a brother though?"
"It's possible." Susan said.
"Suppose he's a twin? Or an older or younger one?" Quoth mused. "I wonder how much you two would resemble each other…"
"Oh, shut up. I don't even want a brother. To much emotional commitment involved." Susan said, her hair sticking out nervously.
"Yeah. I had a sister." Quoth said, continuing to peck at the lace.
"Oh. Okay." Susan said. She saw no logical reason why she should ask about the sister, only curiosity and as everyone knew, curiosity killed the cat.
(But satisfaction brought it back.)
"So what's on the agenda today Susie?" Quoth asked, now tugging at the lace. She wanted to see how far she could go before Susan said anything about it.
"Breakfast, then going to the park, then lunch, then lessons, then going to the library, then dinner, and then I read the children a story and tuck them into bed." Susan said.
(Hello?)
(Hi sry)
"Oh cool!" Quoth clacked her beak, satisfied with the mess she had made out of the lace.
"Tiring. Taking them to the park is always difficult, they never want to leave." Susan groaned.
(I gtg)
Will groaned, “But that would be so embarrassing.”
"It makes no difference. Embarrassing or not, it must be done."

Will groaned, “But that would be so embarrassing.”
"It makes no difference. Embarrassing or not, it must be done."
“Why meee?”
"You know why. Let us prepare for the long night ahead."
Will curled up into a ball again.
"Are you a coward?" Death asked.
“Yes.” Will mumbled.
"Nevertheless, it must be done." Death said, grasping Will by the shirt collar and dragging him along.
“Sirrrrr.” Will whined.
"It must be done." Death said.
“Doesn’t the world just need a Hogfather?” Will complained.
"Yes. It does. Right down to the little helpers.
