Fallen Angels and Broken Wishes (One on One)

"I just want you to realize that you can be happy! You should be happy!" You shouldn't have a constantly blue outline.

Micheal shook his head sadly. He didn’t agree, simply put. He didn’t think he deserved to be happy. He was a bad human.

To his silence, she stood there. She knew he didn't agree. He didn't ever seem to when it came to happiness. The thing is, if he wished, he wanted to be a little happy, right?

Micheal blinked at his dry self and started to dress with a faint sigh. He might as well clothe himself so he can be face-to-face with her…

But has he ever wished before?

"Hey Micheal?" She walked into the living area a little further.

Micheal fit on his shirt and searched for his boxers.
“Yes Red?” He called back.

"Have you ever wished on a star before? Like, actually wished one?" (Tad bit busy, sorry)

(Fine)

Micheal blinked at her and shook his head. “N-no, I haven't.”

"Aww, come on. Everyone's wished once." This much she knew. Whether humans knew it or not, they were wishful and forever unsatisfied.

Micheal pulled on his boxers and jeans hastily, sitting on the bed. “I dunno, really.” He felt stupid saying it, but it was true.

"'I dunno'? What do ya mean?" Wouldn't you know if you wished? Or do humans really forget that much magic leaving them?

“I don’t really pay attention to that stuff, I guess.” He shrugged.

"If you say so." Silence drifted between them, but she wasn't sure what to do about it. So, she just stood there.

Micheal fiddled with his fingers and looked down at them. He didn’t like their silence much. It meant he was probably in trouble.

Red opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. The silence held its ground, and she realized how much she didn't like it. She just wasn't sure how to form the words anymore.

Micheal didn’t glance up when she opened her mouth to speak. He kept his gaze down and his fingers together like a good boy. Good boys are seen and not heard, after all.

She finally spoke. "Well, what do we do now? Since I'm done with finding them."

Micheal glanced up and shrugged. “Whatever you want, I guess.”

"Well, I mean, we need to make you smile. So, we'll start with that." She thought for a moment. "Has anything every made you really happy? Like, really really happy?"

Micheal didn’t really know that either. But he remembered one time, on a school trip he had seen a snake and a few newts.
“I like reptiles. They’re funny.”

"Then let's go find these…reptiles?" She wasn't exactly sure what they were having never heard of them. They aren't in the stars…

Micheal nodded. “They’re wiggly. I’d like to own one.”

"'Wiggly'?" She'd never years that word before either. "Well, then own one."

“Well they’re expensive.” He sighed. “And I can’t afford one.”

"Well, how do we get money to get one?" She knew too much about money. 'I wish to have a million dollars' was one that she heard every two seconds. The Night Sky didn't have money. Everything was mainly free.

“I have to work more,” He sighed and shook his head. “I want to pick up more shifts, but I’d have to pay my bills.”

He was using a lot of words she didn't understand, and it felt…odd. "What is a…bill?" Idiot.

(For some reason, it says you posted last, but it's not showing up…)

(That’s weird. I haven’t posted. In fact, I haven’t seen this!)

Micheal sighed. “Companies taking money from you for using their stuff. The government takes money too.”

"That's a weird thing to do." She thought for a moment. "What's a company?" You need to stop!
