(Hi! Sorry to be gone for so long! We'll skip to the ceremony.)
Beatrice summoned all her courage and walked to the choosing bowls. She was handed a knife and took it. What will I choose? I can stay in Abnegation with my family… No, I'm too selfish. she bit her lip in pain as she ran the knife blade down the palm of her hand. Blood dripped onto the floor and she let out a gasp. Quickly, Beatrice thrust her hand over the Dauntless bowl. I made my choice. There's no turning back now.
Fandom crossover romance one on one (CLOSED)
Stay with Artie and H.G. and Jinksy. Dauntless. Claudia thought. She winced as the knife cut through her fragile skin. Dauntless.
(Train scene?)
Hello?
(I'll talk with your character. She can be the one running next to me)
Beatrice ran with the other Dauntless. She wondered if this was the right choice. "Excuse me, where are we going?", she asked the girl running next to her.
"No idea. Probably that train." Claudia said, pointing to a moving train.
"We're going to jump on, I assume?" Beatrice had seen many Dauntless getting on moving trains, but she never imagined herself doing that.
"Yeah, not my first time doing this so trust me, it's not that hard."
Beatrice was grateful of the reassurance. It didn't help the fact that she knew her whole life was changing. No more Abnegation gray, volunteering selflessly. She wouldn't even see her parents.
Claudia hopped onto the train and held out an arm to the girl. "Grab on!"
"Don't worry, I've got you."
Beatrice grasped the girl's hand and used her other arm to pull herself up. "Thank you. I guess that wasn't too hard." It was good to have found a friend to stick with, especially one who has experience with what they might encounter in initiation. "So, haven't exactly introduced myself yet. My name's Beatrice. What's yours?"
"Claudia. Claudia Donovan."
"Nice to meet you, Claudia. So, umm… what would be a Dauntless greeting?"
"Absolutely no idea. I'm not really up to date on these things." she giggled.
"Dauntless is just… well, weird."
"Oh… well, I like weird", Beatrice said, unsure what to think about what Claudia had said.
"So where are you from?"
Beatrice looked down at her gray clothes. "Abnegation."
"No, I mean who's your family? Best friend? Y'know, people who matter."
"Oh. I belong to the Prior family. I have a brother who joined Erudite." Beatrice noticed how pretty Claudia was. Her hair, her eyes, her lips…all beautiful.
"Yeah, I have- had a brother."
"I'm sorry." Beatrice wondered what happened to him. Not many people died in this city. Or so she thought.
"It's fine. See just there, that's the Dauntless compound." she said, pointing off into the distance.
"Wow." Beatrice marveled at the compound built into the rock. "What's initiation like?"
"No idea. I've heard it's rough."
Claudia said, "Probably a lot of combative stuff."
"Hmm. I guess we'll have to wait and see…"
"I suppose we get off now?" Claudia said, the compound was just a few yards away.
"I suppose so.", Beatrice said, watching the others get off. Maybe if she watched how they did it, she'd have a clue for how to get off. Some landed on their feet, others, the less experienced, stumbled when they jumped off.
