"Well you need to get up." Rory stated.
"But why though?"
"Because you have to go to….work or school!" He paused. "Wait are you in school still?"
Kaida huffed, blowing smoke out of her nose and ears as she tried to change back into a human. Her tail twitched a bit, but nothing happened
"I do online courses and the night shift at 7/11," Max replies.
"Wow Mr. Introvert."
"Here," Lillian put her hand near the floor where Kaida was, offering to pick her up and put her on the couch.
Max throws a pillow at Rory, only he let go too late so it hit the ground just in front of his bed.
"That was pathetic." Rory shook his head.
Hesitantly, Kaida climbed into Lillian's hand. She rested her head on her palm and folded her wings. "Thanks."
"That was pathetic." Rory shook his head.

"My entire life is pathetic," Max replies, sitting up and stretching.
"I believe it."
Max cracks a tired smile, "Do you have any plans for today?"
Lillian gave the dragon a small smile. "It's no problem. I'm sure you're going to be able to control your transformations soon. It can't be easy, but I know you can do it." She lifted up Kaida and put her hand on the couch, so she could climb out if she wanted.
Max cracks a tired smile, "Do you have any plans for today?"
"Yeah actually I have a date."
"Ooo, who are they?" Max asks.
"I hope so," she responded. With a sigh, Kaida hopped onto the couch and sat down. "It wouldn't be so bad if my wings weren't so weak."
"Ooo, who are they?" Max asks.
"Josh Bishop."
"I don't think I know him. Where does he work? Does he go to school?"
"He's a florist."
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself! Not all dragons need to be huge firebreathing I'm gonna steal the princess and destroy everything in my path type! You're amazing just the way you are, you just have to believe it. You'll be there someday." Her tail tapped while she spoke, almost in a wagging manner.
"He's a florist."
"Ooo, Where're you going for your date?"
"The library, then the cafe down the street from the library."
"Solid. Have fun and use protection," Max puts thumbs up and smiles.
Rory squinted. "You're despicable."
"I'm just trying to look out for you, It's important to be safe." Max tries to hides his smile but fails.
Rory threw his shirt at him. "Shut up."
