Eve panicked. Oh gods, no… She burst into the room, and tears instantly sprung to her eyes. She'd never seen her father so weak and defenseless, and she'd never thought that she ever would. "Dad?" she asked, putting her hand up to the veil, but she was careful not to touch it. "Dad, can you hear me?"

Eve eyed the veil helplessly. "I-I can try. I've never been good with veils. And what if I can't get it?"

Eve nodded, and with her fingers trembling awfully, she raised her hand to the veil. Her eyes glowed, and she touched the magic, beginning the process of dispelling it.

Eve winced in pain, but her father was in reach. She couldn't give up on him now. With a gasp of surprise, pain, and relief from Eve, the veil dispersed.

Eve paced over and slipped her arm under his other shoulder. "We got you, Dad. You're going to be alright."
Only half conscious, Saul wasn't much help in supporting his weight. "Farah…" he moaned.

Eve nodded and sprinted back to her mother's bedroom. When she arrived, the barrier had been dispelled, and both Farah and Rosalind were gone. "Shit," Eve hissed. Anya, they're both gone.
