" whats he mean?" anya asked
Fate: your own story ( winx)
group
Saul closed his eyes and didn't respond, so Ben took to responding for him. "I mean, you and Eve are excellent together, don't get me wrong, but… Saul and Farah… they were the best together. I've never seen anything like them, and no offense, but I don't think I ever will."
anya sighed " im so sorry saul… i should have saved her, i hesitated…i killed her" anya teared up a bit
group
Saul looked earnestly at Anya, and she could see some of the black venom creeping in at his veins. "No, you didn't. I know that if there was anything you could've done to protect Farah, you would've done it. Rosalind killed Farah, you said it yourself earlier."
Eve managed a slow nod.
"Anya, let me see what you have," Ben remarked.
anya passed the bowl over " im not very good.."
group
Ben studied the contents and nodded. "That should do it. Pour the boiling water in it and let Eve inhale the steam it creates."
anya nodded and did just that, holding the bowl for her
group
Slowly, inhaling the steam, Eve began to tremble slightly less, and the blue tint began to pull away from her lips.
Anya looked astonished by the quick effects " eve!"
group
The girl moaned softly, the first noise she'd been able to make in minutes, and her eyes met her girlfriend's. "A-A-A-n-y-y-a-a-a."
Anya smiled, tearing up and putting her forehead on eves. " You scared me, so much!"
group
Eve's skin was still cold, unnaturally so, but the steam from whatever concoction Ben had instructed Anya to make was working like a charm. "S-Sor-r-r-ry," Eve stammered quietly.
" it's not your fault.."
group
Eve didn't have enough energy to reply with longer sentences yet, so instead, she leaned on Anya and closed her eyes.
Once the steam stopped Anya held eve close, nuzzling and comforting the bigger
group
Eve's body still trembled, getting used to the warmth after the cold, and she clung to Anya tightly. "I love you," she whispered.
" I love you " she said back and smiled softly
group
"How are you?" she breathed. "Don't lie."
"scared, hurting.." she said " but what's important is you two"
group
"You're important too," Eve whispered, hugging Anya tightly. "I don't want anything to happen to you."
" it won't.."
group
"I know," Eve whispered. "I'll make sure of it."
" do you wanna go get that burned?"
group
Eve nodded slowly. "When I can walk…"
"sorry, not sure how fast this'll work.."
group
Eve looked at Ben. The earth fairy sighed. "I'm not sure either. It's been a while since someone got caught in Farah's trap."
"that was mom?" she asked as the air caught in he throat. " wait.. shes still alive! if her magics not gone shes still.."
group
Eve's eyes widened at the realization. "Oh my–"
On cue, a flicker of light appeared in the corner of the greenhouse. It shimmered like a mirage, then gave way as the magic dispersed. There stood Farah Dowling – alive and breathing like any other. She lifted her chin in the air and smiled knowingly. "Very good, Anya. I was beginning to worry none of you would figure it out." Her eyes twinkled with amusement and, more importantly, life.
Eve gasped with relief. "Mom!"
anya got up an ran to jump and hug farah. " you scared me! how could you!"
group
Farah winced at Anya's hug – her back was still healing – but she hugged the girl back. "I'm sorry. I needed you to believe it as much as Rosalind did in order to successfully fool her. I would've told you sooner, but you've all been quite busy."
She released Anya from the hug, looked up, and made eye contact with Saul. Ignoring Ben's protests, the Specialist stood up quickly and ran to his wife. He reached her, ecstatic to see her alive, and drew her in for a long kiss. Normally, Farah would've kept the embrace short and sweet, but she clung to Saul like a life-line and kissed him until they both needed a break for air.
