Caleb scowled but didn't argue. "No matter. I'll have you again tonight"
briar got off his lap and sat beside him.
"Eat." he said, giving her her plate again. "You're going to need it."
she sighed but slowly began eating.
Caleb smiled and stroked her hair. "Is it good?"

Lizzie looked away as pretended to preoccupy herself with eating and scanning the room
Caleb looks at Elizabeth. "What do you think Lizzie? Good?"
"mhm," she gave him a thumbs up and nodded happily "real good, better than mom's"
Briar looked at Elizabeth "okay then no more homemade pizza for you" she teased.
"awww mama! buts it's so good!" she whined, smiling
Caleb chuckled. "I'd like to taste this legendary pizza now." He nuzzled Briar's cheek giving her puppy dog eyes. "Please~?" He grinned, winking at Elizabeth.
Briar rolled her eyes and started to wash the dishes.
Lizzie grinned, catching on to the little act "Please mommy?! Caleb hasn't tried them yet, he needs to try them!"
"bet he's tried them" she said.
Caleb made a thoughtful face. "No, not that I can recall…" He grinned at Lizzie.
she rolled her eyes and took calebs plate to wash it.
