“Actually Angela I could use a bandaid right about now,” Alexander pouted. She rightfully ignored him and he hopped up. “Okay gang. We’ll have to catch a trolley if all of us plan to make it to the capital in time. I’ll parley with the governor and all but the bodyguard will stand outside. I’d rather not have you all blown to bits on your first day so try not to get into any altercations.” He whistled shrilly and a large trolley, seemingly made solely of recycled metal pipes, stopped at the curb. Beckoning the rest on board, he whispered something in the drivers ear and handed him a few coins. “To the Capital!”

A record was currently playing a soft tune; a gentle opera. The record spun upon its table as it played the music in the room. This particular room seemed to be vacant, except for the vitals of any living quarters, though the strangest object in the room was a very large tub. Inside the tub, was of course water. It seemed silent, until the voice suddenly echoed throughout the giant ship. It was silent, then the once still water started to stir. A head suddenly emerged from the water, belonging to what appeared to be a male.
Slender arms soon also followed out of the water, coming to rest on either side of the giant tub. A long, finned tail suddenly also emerged from the water, coming to flop over the side. A few black scales seemed to surround his shoulders, the same color as the tail that was currently hanging over the edge. The male moved one of his hands, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Goddamn't…damn idiot always has to go and disturb my quiet."
His hand moved to the side, grabbing a nearby towel that was hanging upon the back of a chair. He stepped out of the tub, wrapping the towel around his waist. The male then moved off to the side, grabbing a folded shirt and pants. He tossed the clothes onto the bed, finishing drying off his body with the towel, then getting fully dressed. The young man pulled the shirt over his head, appearing to be human for the most part. Though, that could all change in a heartbeat if the situation called for it, however, that was unnecessary aboard the ship.
He walked over to the record table, stopping the music he had been listening to. The male moved the large record from its place on the table, then returning it to its protective sleeve, putting it away with several other records beneath. A low grumble drew his attention, causing him to glance down towards his stomach.
"What? Hungry already?"
As if to answer, his stomach gurgled even louder. The male sighed, moving a hand to rub his temples. He muttered something under his breath, though returned his hand to his side, heading towards the door, and then out into the hall. He glanced around, eyes glowing slightly, pupils narrowing slightly into slits, alert. The male opened his jaws slightly, allowing the different scents to flood his senses. He sorted each one out, till coming to the main one; the one to the kitchen.
His footsteps echoed on the floor as he walked towards the direction the scent was coming from. Well, it was a guess really. He was just going off of all the scents of different herbs, meats, and edible vegetation. The male's eyes flickered to the side, having taken note that the captain must've already headed down and out while the remaining members staid aboard. He heard the voice, something about destroying and blowing shit up, not that he really cared. He was content to remain away from all the ruckus, but if perhaps a challenge was ensued, he'd join in, but until then, it was not interesting for him.
Ah, there was the place he was looking for. His hand moved, resting upon the handle, moving it to reveal a large kitchen. His gaze shifted back and forth, the scents of cooking fat, fresh produce, and strong herbs for seasoning flooding his senses.
"Now then…where's the fish…"

Pennsylvania stayed pretty silent through this whole debacle. She hopped off the metal trolley, and checked her large satchel. Not too much to trade today, just some knickknacks and whirliwinds made out of materials more valuable than the usual. She usually didn't take kindly to people like Captain Alexander, but she could deal with it. "Anyone coming with me to the trading area or am I alone?"

"I'll come, the underground market is pretty close to the main one." Tomas said, almost appearing behind Pennsylvania. "Ooh, I could get some booze!"

@MusicElle-is-here

Evangeline wandered around the city, trying not to look like she had just arrived there. Angela! Was Alexander ever going to get her name right? She wondered if he was messing it up on purpose now. Evangeline shook it off, and continued walking. She wasn’t interested as buying or blowing anything up so much as exploring and seeing what the city had to offer. She wished Adrien could see this. Her little brother had never been much for travel, but loved to paint beautiful scenery nonetheless.

(It depends on the place the ship stops but most commonly small bronze coins worth about $10 apiece)

The metal trolley took the few going up to the capital through many winding roads. Most were silent but occasionally someone on the street would glare at Alexander and he would wave perkily. Finally, the trolley reached the top of the hill and came to a screeching stop in front of a government building of some sort. He was of course the first to get off and he skipped over to the guards at the door muttering something to them. He turned back to the crew members on the trolley. “Get a move on! The governor doesn’t like to be kept waiting.” As they entered, the guards completely ignored them and the captain marched through the halls, stopping frequently to tell an embarrassing story about the people in portraits on the walls. He stopped at a round wooden door and smiled brightly. “Any questions my dear crew?”

(Got it. Thanks!)

Pennsylvania sighed and turned to Tomas. "Fine. I'll cut you off if I think it's too much. We'll head down to trade after this little adventure with the captain." She shook her head at Alexander, waiting for what is to come.

"Don't worry Penn, I can't get drunk." He nodded, smiling. You could see a few explosives and bottles of flamable liquids peeking out of his open bag and… Is that a bottle of blood?

"Well then, I'll take your word for it, Tomas." Pennsylvania let her thoughts wander about this strange new place. What the people were like, what the food was like. She'd have to ask Evangeline after this.

Avery groaned at the instructions that came over the intercom and grumbled to herself as she started making food for the whole crew. Although cooking was her passion, it got a little annoying being forced to stay in there.

"Where are we going from here?" Ariene asked, the armor on her fists growing by a couple inches.

Aria stated in her room, working on some shoulder pads made of metal and silver. She couldn't bother to go outside, she'd seen the horrors many time over. None seemed to interest her much so there was no point in going along

"Well, you and I are going to go into the door behind me and I'm going to argue with him and possibly start a war. Everyone else, you can either chill here and wait for the chaos or I guess go out to the city and…wait for the chaos." Alexander spread his hands. "As you can see, a few of the crew already left to trade or wait. Do what you will."

Crimson sat on the floor of her room. She listened to the intercom when it went off, but when it stopped she hadn't made any moves to leave her room. Crimson sat there he cloak on but the hood not yet on her yet, she had a sword resting in front of her. Maybe she would go out soon, look around… Maybe not. Crimson sighed then put her hood up and mask on, after she stood up and sheathed her sword.

Tomas got bored with Penn and decided to just head to the underground, after stealing some coins of course. He burst into his favorite stall, his usual grin on his face. "Miss me?" H

(I have apparently been summoned, although I am a bit late. Interesting, I did not know that I was good enough at roleplaying to be summoned. Thanks. I have a lot of rps at the moment, though, so would it be okay if I just stalked for now? I might join later if there are still spots open…)

Alexander frowned. "I don't know. Let's find out." He gestured for the others to stand aside and opened the doors. They led into a fanciful office absolutely covered in trophies and hunting gear. A tall, grumpy man sat behind a desk and a few guards stood off to the sides. The man behind the desk, Governor Michael D. Hansen, looked up as they entered and made a face as if he was a cat who had just eaten a lemon for a viral video. Alexander smiled far too wide and gave a little bow. "Nice to see you once more Governor Mike."
"You're not welcome here Stinson," The governor grumbled flatly. "I should have my guards remove you this instant." Alexander gave a little pout.
"But I have such news for you! It would be a shame if the press heard it first." The Governor shook his head but anyone could tell his interest was peaked. The guards eyed both Alexander and each other warily, as if one of them might secretly be working for said press.
"Tell me and get out," The Governor said, defeated. Alexander's smile somehow widened.
"Well you see," He began. "That secretary, I believe you know her very well, is working for one of your rivals. It seems you may have let something slip during pillow talk because there are enemy forces headed over, and I don't believe they plan to make a peace offering what with the guns and cannons. They'll be here in twenty minutes" Alexander pivoted on his foot and made his way to the door.
"What? Bu-" The Governor's jaw had dropped to his desk. "Can't you tell me more?" Alexander stopped dead in his tracks.
"You said to tell you and get out. I'm only honoring your wishes." His exit couldn't have been more dramatic if he had sashayed out. once he had left and could hear sufficient panic from inside the room, he tapped his wrist and a hologram video of each crew member popped up. "If you had any interest in pyromania I suggest you get started. Everyone else should probably make their way back to the ship. This port will be a war zone in less than half an hour."

@MusicElle-is-here

Evangeline was making her way down a crowded street when she got the message. Since she didn’t have much destructive tendencies, she decided now was a good time to head back to the ship. She had gotten what she wanted anyway, which was a sample of the culture here. She walked at a brisk pace (but not so fast as to seem out of place) towards the ship. She walked in with a smile, satisfied, and headed to her room.

@bubblegum

Ariene pursed her lips. She had been expecting more force with that. "They didn't seem too mad at you, did they?"

Alexander chuckled. "He's in shock. Don't worry, you'll get your fight on the way back to the ship."

@bubblegum

Ariene nodded, the armor retracting down her neck. "And when will that be?"

He checked one of the many watches on his wrist. "Right about now I'm thinking. Lead the way."

Mako, as was the male's name, found the pantry in the large kitchen. He opened the door, slipping into the room that held most of the food and such.
"Now then, where's the light in here…OW! DAMN'T!"
He had smacked his head on a random shelf, which in turn sent him tumbling backwards. He made an attempt to catch himself, grabbing nothing but air. On his way to meet the floor, several cans fell off, each one seemingly, conveniently bouncing off his head. Mako, during his fall, rolled over backwards, coming to land hard on the floor, head resting on the ground, hind-end in the air. He remained there, only releasing a groan from where he had crashed.
After a few minutes, he finally rolled over onto his back, entire body hurting, but mostly his head. He was snarling choice words under his breath in an unknown tongue, words that were best not repeated in English. Mako didn't even bother to sit up, though out of all his body, his head had received the most abuse, so of course it hurt the worse. He didn't even realize the ship's chef was currently in the kitchen. Not that he really cared at the moment.
It would be up to the other female whether she was willing to risk asking if he was alright. Mako wasn't exactly a 'nice' creature, he would tolerate people, but other than that, he often turned a shoulder to them. Now, with him making a mess and also getting beat up by non-living things, Mako was rightfully annoyed and would most likely snap at the first thing that came from her. Though one wouldn't know till something did happen.
