ELowen walked into her favorite shop, muttering to Lemon. "No, I haven't read that book.." Chirping "well you haven't either.. Can you even read?" Chirping "Yep. Okay… Shush" she said, listening to another groups conversation. Magic? They had it too? She leaned in farther, trying to hear them better, but she knocked over a shelf. "Sorry!" She said, turning red.

Lata turned around to see the girl and the shelf topple over and froze. If this girl didn't have magic, they were all screwed. Whether she did or not, the sign in the door was also flipped to closed. Somehow she had a feeling that the girl meant no real harm. It was whether or not she could keep their secret that was the issue.

Lloyd quickly pulled the hoodie down. He didn't know whether this person was trustworthy, and someone else seeing his wings would be very bad.

Becca looked at the new girl. "It's fine." She said calmly. Beni flew into the other girl, nuzzling her hand. (Beni is very outgoing sooooooooooo………..yeah………)
Ferryn slammed her hands together, stopping the lightning immediately. A few sparks flew out, but that was it.
Lloyd could feel the electricity dissipating in the air, giving him chills. He stepped away from the newcomer, anxious.
“…hi?” She mumbled,
"..Hi.." Elowen said quietly, Looking at the others. "I am sorry… I just heard you conversation and thought it was quite interesting… Don't worry, You can trust me."
"Great, now I just have to avoid telling anyone else that I'm an angel. Easy enough, right?" He didn't look very convinced. "I'm hopeless.."
“That damned missing king has thrown everything into disarray,” she sighed.
"Things were already going awry before he left… this has just further tossed it askew."
“I guess.”
Winnie sat down, Lemon perching on her shoulder. chirping "Yes I know but.." Chirp chirp "well obviously.." Chirping chirp chirp "Ok, ok." She turned to the group of people and smiled. "I'm Winnie," CHIRP! "And this is Lemon." She giggled, stroking the yellow bird's feathers.
Ferryn visibly relaxed. “Nice to meet you, Winne, Lemon.”
Winnie smiled. "Nice to meet you too. Er… Who are you guys?" She asked awkwardly glancing around.
"I'm Lloyd. I… don't really have magic powers like these guys, but as you know now, I'm an angel. So I guess flight is my power? I haven't flown in so long I don't even know anymore…"
“I’m Ferryn. Electricon, I guess. That’s what my family calls me,”s he said, lighting a few sparks on her fingers.
"I'm Becca. This is Beni." Becca said with a smile. "But you can call me Firefly too. Whatever suits you."
"I can talk to animals. And I can shape shift. Lemon here is my favorite pet." CHIRPPP "Sorry, friend. My favorite friend." she repeated, winking.
"Nice to meet you all." Winnie smiled.
"Likewise. So… what's the plan? I'm honestly still pretty confused."
She nodded. “Anyways, who’s up for breaking into the castle?”
Becca sighed. "Alright everyone, hold on. We need to this this through logically. Nice to meet you too Winnie."
"I think we should rescue the king." Winnie said with an excited expression on her face.
“It is logical! Want to find out who took the king and to where? Find clues at the crime scene!”
"Yeah, but isn't there a way to get in that isn't… well, illegal? Or incredibly dangerous?"
