Jude burrowed deeper into the softness of the blanket, sighing happily at the feeling of Nyx against his side as the movie went on.

Nyx stayed cuddled up to Jude, watching the movie contentedly. He rubbed his eyes with one hand, a strange feeling of tiredness moving through him.

As the movie went on, Jude was reminded of how much he ached to make his own film, the concept of the oversight and production of something so beautiful was literally in front of him, teasing and just out of reach. Soon, the credits rolled and he let out a content sigh, feeling incredibly lucky at where he was in his life.

Nyx was leaning against him drowsily. "That was a good movie." He commented sleepily, smiling at Jude. "Thank you."

(Good night!)

"Of course," Jude smiled, picking up the remote to switch the TV off and slowly shrugging off the blanket, "You're tired, huh?" He chuckled.

Nyx frowned a little bit. "I don't know." He replied. "My head feels weird." He curled into Jude's side again, quite obviously sleepy.

Jude smiled and wound Nyx's arm around his shoulder, getting ready to stand up. "Come on, up you get," He said softly, chuckling at his drowsy expression.

Nyx grumbled softly, and stood up, rubbing his face sleepily. "Don't wanna." He complained, wrinkling his nose at Jude.

"You just wanna pass out here on the couch?" Jude said, finding himself smiling at his childish opposition. "It's only a few steps, anyway." He added, slowly guiding them from the living room and into the connecting hall.

Nyx grumbled softly as he followed Jude, sighing softly. He ran his hands through his hair and blinked tiredly.

(Haha oof)

"Ookay," Jude smiled as he opened the door to his bedroom, softly nudging a pile of books to the side and turning on his bedside lamp, casting a warm glow in the cool darkness. "Okay, now you can pass out," He chuckled.

Nyx squinted at him. "I'm not sure what you mean. I'm not going to "pass out"." He replied, looking at Jude.

"I mean now you can properly lay down and sleep." Jude told him, feeling his own eyelids growing heavy as he set out a pair of pyjamas for Nyx. "I'm gonna quickly clean up in the living room, I'll be back in a sec."

Nyx picked up the pajamas, and nodded slightly. "M'kay." he replied sleepily. Once Jude was gone, he changed into the pajamas, sitting down on the bed when he was done.

Jude made a quick loop around his apartment, putting away a few dirty dishes and switching off the lights, putting the clay bowl they'd made earlier onto a drying rack. He came back to his room, greeting Nyx with a smiling sigh, pulling his shirt off and trading it for a loose-fitting white t-shirt along with some softer pants. "Ugh, I'm exhausted," Jude groaned as he fell onto his bed.

Nyx gave a soft smile at that, looking over at Jude. He had closed his eyes while Jude changed, to give the other at least a little privacy, even if Jude hadn't exactly seemed to care.

He sighed heavily, reaching up to turn off his bedside lamp as he shuffled underneath the covers. "C'mere," Jude said through a lazy smile and squirming under his blankets.

Nyx lay down beside Jude under the blankets, squirming until he was pressed up next to Jude. He closed his eyes tiredly, letting out a soft sigh.

"Goodnight," Jude softly murmured, his eyelids sliding shut as his breathing slowed. "Tomorrow, you're gonna see lions, and otters, and giraffes, and penguins…" He trailed off.

Nyx let out a sleepy hum. "I don't know what those are." He replied softly, snuggling close to Jude and starting to fall asleep.

"You will," Jude barely made out, feeling himself sink deeper into his pillow. "…They're…animals," He mumbled, and promptly drifted off into sleep.

"Oh." Nyx slowly fell asleep, his eyelids drooping and his body relaxing as he lay curled against Jude.

Jude had quietly woken to the soft light of the sunrise, colouring the walls like bright parchment. He'd carefully slipped out of their tangled hold on each other, careful not to wake him as he made his way to the bathroom for a quick shower. He smiled at the sound of scratching outside the front door and let Macy wander inside, moving on to the kitchen to start their monumental breakfast, humming softly as he worked.

Nyx kept sleeping, curled up in the blankets tiredly. His legs had somehow ended up wrapped around Jude's, and had to be disentangled. Of course, as he couldn't exactly feel his legs, this wasn't a big deal. He sighed softly, still sleeping.

(is he gonna wake up by himself, or should jude wake him?)

Jude smiled as Macy wandered into the kitchen, softly pawing at his ankles in hopes of a treat. He'd set the table with cutlery, juice, and syrup, along with some chopped fruit to go with the chocolate-chip pancakes he was preparing. Jude shooed Macy away, quietly chuckling at she waddled into the bedroom.

Nyx was eventually awoken by the smell of food, sitting up and rubbing his eyes sleepily. He spotted Macy, and let out a soft coo of greeting, reaching down and picking up the little cat in his arms.
