Xavier nods, "Kid, it's official. We're now your hogwarts guardians." he says ceremoniously.

"What?! That's a thing? I must've missed that chapter in the book!" He grabbed a book from his bedside table and skimmed the table of contents.
“We need to make a pledge or something.”
"Yeah, no kidding. And kid. When you go to hogwarts, families are made. Since you're younger than both of use, we take you under our wing." Xavier explains.
“This kid is adorable.”
"Does that mean I have to stay in the Slytherin or Ravenclaw common room? What chapter are hogwarts guardians in? I can't find anything in this book…"
"They're not in the book, silly. And you stay in the hufflepuff, relax." Xavier chuckles.
"Oh…" He lay the book aside. "What are they in, then? I don't know anything about them."
"It's something the students came up with." He says with a gentle laugh. "You're not going to find it in a book."
"Well, what do you know about it then? I've never heart of hogwarts guardians."
“We just came up with it a few minutes ago,” Skye giggled.
(*heard)
"Oh? Then… well, you must know the statistics, being the creators and all."
“What statistics would you like?”
"How it works, what it is, the reason behind it. There has to be some sort of motive, right?"
“Well you got hurt, so now me and Xavier will try to prevent you from getting hurt again.”
"But you can't just come to all my classes! Surely you guys have considerably more important things to do than following around a first year. I'm bound to get hurt occasionally, that's one of the best ways to learn."
“Pfft not like that,”
"What do you mean?"
“Just when we can defend you,” Skye said, the she paused, “you’ll see.”
"…Okay then. When will I be out of here?"
"Soon. Probably tonight." Xavier says thoughtfully. "Besides, kid, you need a few older kids on your side to make sure you're good."
(Hey Xavier and Skye are parennnnnnts :D)
Nolan nodded, a pink tint coming to his cheeks. "You guys really don't have to, I-I'm fine."
(Brb)
Xavier chuckles, ruffling his hair gently, "Relax, kiddo. We want to."
“Yes.” Skye nodded.
"But what about your own classes? Homework? Won't your teachers notice you being gone?"
“Pfft, I’m Skye. I would never miss a class.”
"Then how do you expect to protect me all the time? Most of my classes take place at the same time as yours, you know."
“I’ll try as hard as I can.”
Xavier chuckles, nodding. "Well, we'll manage. I scored some free classes, since I took a summer course, so."
