Dash quickly put away her books, not wanting to get on the professor's bad side.

Put away their books?! Estelle wasn't so sure she liked this teacher anymore, but she gingerly placed her massive stack of books on the floor next to her, exchanging a curious glance with Ella.
Laurens caught the swift, nervous movements of a girl in the middle row, with short wavy black hair. Was she scared of him? A flicker of a smile passed across his face.
"Please, all students in their 3rd year and above take out your wands."
Ella looked over at Estelle curiously. This was going to fun.
Dash pulled out her wand, waiting for instructions.
He looked around the room again. "Wands, pair up with the non-wands." He paced the room. "We are going to do a quick practical review of a few simple charms you should all be able to do."
Dash paired up with a two-year who was sitting in front of her.
(should we wait for @BookAddict?)
Ella stood and paired up with Estelle.
(shrugs I think so)
(sorry guys. i'm back)
Estelle grinned at Ella across from her
(ok then. now we wait. how's Laurens? I'm not too good at handling adults)
(oh wait ok)
(@amber, what year are you?)
(He's pretty darn scary. Good job!! claps)
(Laurens is really good.)
Laurens walked over to a five-year and two-year. "What's your name?" he asked the five-year with pink streaks in her hair.
(@amber, what year are you?)
(In the story I'm a year two, 13 years old)
(cool thanks)
(@BookAddict Laurens is talking to you)
"Estelle," she said confidently. She wouldn't be cowed by him.
Laurens smiled surreptitiously at her Estelle's defiance. "Ms. Estelle. You are going to try a simple Giggling charm onβ¦" he gestured to the two-year, gaze still trained on Estelle.
Ella stared at Lauren's pointing hand, and it registered. "Oh! Ella Packwood, sir."
Laurens nodded. "A Giggling charm on Ella," he repeated. He stepped back and crossed his arms. "Go ahead."
Estelle took a deep breath, readied her wand and spoke the incantation, forcing all the authority into her voice that she could muster.
Ella fixed the point of Estelle's wand nervously. Estelle cast the spell, and Ella waited. It was silent for a moment before a small laugh slipped out. She slapped a hand across her mouth, but soon she was giggling uncontrollably.
Laurens looked at the snickering Ella. "How inelegant," he muttered. He approached Ella and gently tapped her on the head with his wand. She immediately stopped laughing.
Estelle allowed a small smile to slip over her face at her success before restoring her face to its usual ambivalent mask. Estelle bent down and helped Ella up from the ground, where she had fallen during her fit of laughter.
Dashti smiled. Way to go Estelle She praised silently.
Laurens spotted the wavy-black-haired girl's smile. "Ever so proud of our new friends. Very well, Ms. Wood, your turn."
