Cicada was a tad shocked at that and she said, "Sorry. You looked like a first year. Not that that's a bad thing."

Cicada laughed a little, "Let's go sit down and watch the others fight."

Riverpaw sat next to her, carefully tucking her tail around her waist. She looked out at the mat and her ears twitched a little. "I-I've heard of that girl. Evie, r-right?" She asked Cicada quietly.
“Yes,” Cicada observed River carefully, “How do you know her?”

She shrugged a bit. "W-well, when you have wolf-like hearing, eaves-dropping kinda just b-become a normal thing. I-I hear people say she's got a…a-an evil alter-ego o-or something. I-I've seen her around the halls, but I've n-never talked to her. T-too scared."

Riverpaw drew her shoulders up and looked away, her ears pinning to her head. "I-I know, I'm s-sorry.." She squeaked.

Riverpaw's ears perked at that, and she gasped quietly, turning to Cicada with a worried expression. "N-no! U-uh, no…at least, not m-much. Just…th-this is why I don't t-talk to people. I-I never know the r-right thing to say, a-and I thought you were getting u-upset at me…sorry." She messed with her tail nervously.
Cicada let out a sigh of relief, “Oh okay. I’m not mad. Or upset. Or anything really.”
