Hyunwoo frowned after the scene concluded and the serpents melted down, losing their green scales and fangs to become one with the mat again. He walked over to the group, staring at Evie critically. "I guess I'll take her to the nurse's office," he volunteered.

Coach Wilson stood, placing her clipboard on her stool and walked into the dueling room, breaking through the ring of students to look at Evie. "Unstable, her powers are highly unstable," she said. "Impressive but unstable. I'm going to have a word with the headmaster," she murmured.

Cicada put the necklace around Evie's neck. It was really pretty.

Evie's eyes fluttered open when Cicada put the necklace around her neck. The stone instantly turned a light sky blue. She gasped, everyone was staring at her. She looked at Cicada and whispered quietly, "What did I do?"

Cicada gave her a slight smile. She could feel, go away. She said quietly, "Nothing really. Just gave us all a fright. No one got hurt."

"What happened?" Evie asked. They were all looking at her like she was a monster. She must've done something bad.

"You really just summoned some darkness and refused to stop fighting," Cicada responded. A hand instinctively went to her head.

"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" Evie was so of that she hurt one of her friends (unadmittedly her only friend).

Cicada laughed as she continued to hold her head, "No! No! I just have a headache that's all."

She walked out of the gym and scurried over there. How could she have forgotten!?
