Zackary gave faint disgruntled Demon noises as he burrowed somehow closer to her, huffing into her skin.

"Hey, if you're not careful you'll burrow right threw me."

Zackary growled softly, shaking his head. “I was comfy. You will pay the price.”

"Pay the price huh?" Afriel rolled her eyes. "You're such a grump."

Zackary growled softly again, curling their legs together. “Whatever. I'm a grump who loves you.”

"Awe. I guess you are. You're my grump." She smiled sweetly and planted a small kiss on his head. Careful not to move to much.

Zackary relaxed into her with a soft sigh. “I am your grump.”

Afriel nodded her head and stroked his hair. Content on just being there, with him. The man she loved.

Zackary half-closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of her gentle strokes. “Mmm… love you.”

"And I love you too." A smile smile came to dance on her lips. "I'm glad we met. Even if the circumstances weren't the best." She added the last part with a laugh.
