"I know." Afriel mumbled, "but don't you get tired of sleeping all the time?"

Zackary shook his head. “No…. I get tired. That’s it.

"Well that I can see." Afriel gave a small laugh. "How did you ever stay awake in the war?" Her tone was a bit sarcastic as she rolled her eyes.

Zackary yawned widely, his teeth sparkling. “Nooooope.”

"Nope? Nope what?" Afriel laughed again, and poked at his face while Eden again called from downstairs.

“Nooooooooooooooope,” Zackary repeated, even louder when Eden called.

There was a knock at the door, followed by Edens soft voice, "do y'all just live in there now? Or are you gonna come out anytime soon?"

Zackary made fretful Demon noises and snuggled closer into Afriel. He lived here. In her arms in their room.

Afriel laughed lightly before answering Edens question, "I don't think I can leave even if I wanted too." She joked.

Zackary growled softly and curled his hands up into fists. They could take Afriel from his cold, dead hands.

"Calm down, Zackary." Afriel flicked his ear. "You don't need to growl."

Zackary shook his head, growling softly again. He didn’t like it when people touched his ears.

"Jeez, calm down." Afrile laughed lightly. "You sound so angry when you growl."

Zackary shuffled closer into her, giving another faint growl. “That’s the point.”

"Yeah, but being angry isn't good on you." Afriel pouted through a small laugh.

Zackary frowned and glowered over at the door. “I just wanna be comfy.”

"Then be comfy, not angry." Afriel wiggled around untill her face was level with his, and planted a small kiss on his nose.

Zackary made angry disgruntled noises, shaking his head angrily. “Why are you moving???”

"So I can kiss you, you angry little man." Afriel rolled her eyes.

Zackary huffed again. “I am not little.”

"So cute and angry." Afriel giggled. "And small." She added jokingly.

Zackary growled softly at her and burrowed back into her warm neck and chest. “I’m not!”

"Not what? Angry? Or small?" Afriel gave a small smile that was full of mischief.

“Small!” Zackary squeaked out, burrowing closer. “I’m taller than you!”

Afriel giggled at how his voice had squeaked, "well, taller then me but still."

Zackary huffed loudly. “Therefore. Not. Small.”

"You sure about that hon?" Afriel continued to tease him.

Zackary growled softly at her, buring his head in her neck. “Yes. Sure.”
