Matrix stepped out of the smoldering wreck of the vault room. His hands where empty. He had a small draw string bag slung over one shoulder. Alarms where blaring all around him as he calmly left the bank and literally strutted down the street.

Corbin covered the wound again before getting up again. He walked without his crutch now, working through the pain to go into the backyard with Orion. He threw the ball for the dog again, humming to himself.
Matrix walks past all the police, firefighters and ambulance. He walks around a few blocks of the town before heading back toward the human's house. The bag of money clinks slightly with the coins and hundreds of dollar bills

Corbin continued to toss the ball for Orion, occasionally giving the dog a scratch. He stopped humming, glancing up towards the clouded sky. It looked like it was about to rain.
Matrix pauses around the side of the house then leans over the human's head, "I'm back bitch."
He drops the money on the human's stomach.

Corbin jumped slightly at the sudden voice, looking up at Matrix then down at the sack. “What is this?” He asked, arching a brow at the demon. He sat back up a bit more, frowning down at the bag.
Matrix shrugs and starts walking out into the woods.

Corbin opened the bag, eyes widening with shock as he saw all the money. “Hold on a second, what the hell is all of this?!” He shouted to Matrix.
:Money. Haven't you seen it before?" Matrix doesnt pause on his way back to the forest and shadows

“Where did you get it?” Corbin called. He cursed softly to himself, pushing to his feet gingerly and heading towards Matrix. It was difficult, considering he didn’t have his crutch, but he could stand it. He needed questions answered.
Matrix rolls his eyes and his head follows. He turns to face the human, "It's yours. Take it. You're welcome." He snaps

“But where did you possibly get all this money from? And why would you give it to me?” Corbin asked, stopping. His leg throbbed too much to keep going, and he decided he wouldn’t chase after Matrix any longer.
Matrix started walking back toward the human. He shakes his head and pauses about two feet away from him. He bends over slightly and stares at the human's eyes, "Why does it matter? You needed the money." He points to the human's leg

“I.. I appreciate what you were trying to do, but I’m not going to take this if I don’t know where it came from,” Corbin answered, doing his best to keep his tone level.
Matrix narrows his eyes, "WHy does it matter. It's from a bank. Like all money."
pets
“A bank? Jesus, please don’t tell me you stole all this money,” Corbin said, eyes going a tad wide. As much as he did need the money, he couldn’t take money that was stolen.
"Oh coarse it wasnt stolen. It was salvaged." He smirks. The reason the alarms were blaring wasn't because of him. He could sense three thieves trying to break in anyway. He only opened the front door himself and commandeered the money.

“Salvaged from a bank? Really? Matrix, I don’t think I can take this,” Corbin huffed, rubbing at the bridge of his nose. He put a bit more weight on his left leg, and he felt a sharpness in his calf, so he balanced more of his weight on the opposite leg. It normally wasn’t this painful, and he didn’t need his crutch so much usually, but the new cut was making it worse.
Matrix doesnt move. He sighs and holds out his hand, "It was going to get stolen any way. Give it back if you dont want it."

“What are you going to do with it if I give it to you?” Corbin asked, frowning softly as he looked at Matrix’s outstretched hand. All of this was just causing him to get a bit of anxiety, and back towards the house, Orion’s ears perked.
"Return it to the original thieves." Matrix barks and takes a swing for the money

Corbin jerked it away, just about stumbling and falling. He shook his head quickly in response to that. “It wasn’t theirs to begin with, it should go back to the bank. If I keep it, or you give it to the thieves, then other people won’t have all of their savings.”
"Not my problem. It's theirs." He was talking about the original thieves. He had lurched forward and helped the human stand straight.

“It is your problem, you took it from the bank,” Corbin pressed. When Matrix had come forward again, he flinched away from him, expecting to be attacked. The tension left his body, confusion replacing that when Matrix helped him.
"I didnt. I commandeered it." Matrix barks but holds onto the human's arms

“It doesn’t matter what it’s called, Matrix. It needs to be returned,” Corbin said. His breaths were beginning to get caught in his throat as he looked down at Matrix’s hands that were gripping onto him. Orion’s tail swayed, and the dog began to pad over.
"Not by me." Matrix snarls. The human's sense of tension was starting to rub off on him. His arms and neck start to tense again.

“God, you are like a child,” Corbin snapped, dropping the sack on the ground. He pulled away a bit, jerking his arms from Matrix’s grasp. Orion had made his was over by now, whining softly, but he ignore the dog.
Matrix snatches the bag up and glares at the human. He then holds out the bag in the middle of his palm, "Last chance." The tips of fingers burst into flame, just barely sindging the bag
pets
“Matrix, don’t burn it. That’s people money, they might need it more than I do,” Corbin said as he watched the flames. He would feel absolutely awful if all that money was destroyed. That could be the only money a family could have, and they could turn out like him- broke and struggling. He couldn’t let that happen to other people.
