Alita continued scanning the shelves, occasionally pulling out a book to read part of it.

Max had took out a random book which looked interesting to him and settled down in a chair before reading the book.

Alita finally found a book, one of her favorites and looked around for another chair, she didn't see any so she sat down on the floor and started reading.

Alita smiled and continued to read, happily blocking out the rest of the world with her book.

Alita finished the first half of the book and stopped reading to stretch. she glanced at max and watched him read before turning back to her book.

Alita quickly finished reading and put her book back, she started walking around and glanced at Max every so often to see if he was done.

Alita smiled and sat down on the armrest of Max's chair, she laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, waiting for him.

Max jumped when he felt something on his shoulder and saw Alita. "Oh-um-hey."

Alita smiled "hey,"

"I-um-sorry about that." He apologized, quickly putting the book away.

Alita looked at Max and smiled softly "It's fine, you can keep reading."

"Nonono, it's fine." He apologized again, standing up and smiling at her.

"Max, you can read if you want.." Alita smiled at him and stood up.

"It's fineeee." Max said as he glanced at her.

"Ok.." She stood next to max and yawned slightly, exhausted even though it wasn't night yet.

"Are you tired?" He asked.

Alita mumbled "Sort of…"

"Do you just want to rest then?"

Alita shrugged "I'm good," she yawned again and blushed "I don't want to go back just yet.."

Max nodded. "Okay then."

Alita smiled "thanks…"

Max smiled back. "You're welcome."

Alita glanced up at Max and blushed for no reason.

"Why are you blushing again?" He asked.

Alita shrugged and leaned on Max's arm "I don't know,"

"Okay then." Max nodded.
