"What? I thought winners get to choose," Max said, a slightly confused look on his face.

Alita grinned "Alright, i'll go hunt, you get a fire going."

Max nodded. "Okay then."

Alita quickly grabbed her bow and saluted to Max as a joke, "I'll be back." She quickly giggled and ran off into the woods silently.

Max chuckled and bowed back. "Okay then," He replied before looking around for wood he could use for the fire.

Alita ran through the forest, and soon found a place to hide, she took out a piece of wire from her pocket and made a snare before jumping into a bush that was nearby and sitting down to wait.

Still looking around.

Alita sat and waited, soon a small rabbit came by and got caught in the trap. She got up and quickly killed it and gutted it.

Max is still looking around since yeeee.

Alita started walking back to max, the rabbit in her hand.

Max quickly found the type of wood he needed and he started collecting it.

Alita smiled when she got back to the camp, and stood by the tree silently, waiting to see if Max noticed her.

Max hadn't noticed Alita yet as he kept collecting wood.

Alita giggled quietly and snuck up behind Max. She tapped him on the shoulder and moved so if he looked there he wouldnt see her.

Max quickly turned around then saw a bit of something-or someone- in his peripheral vision, he quickly turned the other way and saw Alita. "Oh, hey."

Alita giggled again "Hi, I have a rabbit all ready to go." She held up the rabbit and then quickly put it down by her side.

"Okay then, that's good." Max glanced at the rabbit and quickly finished getting the wood so he can start the fire.

Alita backed up and started clearing a space for Max to start the fire.

Max thanked her and set the wood in the space, quickly starting a fire.

Alita nodded in reply and smiled, watching Max as he started a fire.

Max finished starting the fire then glanced at Alita. "What next?"

Alita held out the rabbit "We need to get three sticks, two that have a split like a Y and one straight stick so that we can cook this." she smiled and started looking around for some sticks.

Max smiled back and handed her a few sticks he had found next to him.

"Thanks!" Alita took the sticks and jammed two with the Y's into the ground on either side of the fire and speared the rabbit with the straightest one, laying it across the two Y'd sticks she started cooking the rabbit over the fire.

"No problem." Max watched her cook the rabbit, a small smile on his face.

Alita stole a glance at Max and blushed, she looked back at the fire and continued to cook the rabbit, the blush spreading across her face.

"Why are you blushing?" The smile on his face grew a bit bigger as he watched Alita blush.

"Nothing…." Alita murmured and looked at him quickly before smiling and blushing harder.

"You're a terrible liar." Max commented, the smile on his face growing bigger.

Alita blushed again and didn't respond, she continued to cook the rabbit and blush.
