Goldergon moaned at Asuka’s words, but nonetheless enjoyed his moment of flying. Ehvara giggled.

Mardicos glared at Felix, but remained silent, his eyes flicking to Goldergon occasionally. He rolled his eyes as Ehvara continued to laugh.

As Asuka snuck up on Lucitius and attacked, Lucitius whirled around and blocked it with his staff. He grinned mischievously.

He turned with Asuka to scrutinize the newcomer. He listened to the interaction, his curiosity piqued at the mention of this Felix creature being a Prince of Hell.

“I cannot promise mine family will react kindly to you, Felix, yet as long as you prove to be no threat, I see no reason why you cannot us,”Lucitius mentioned.

(Glancing around, hello?)

(Ah, alright. And now, the waiting game. Brain starts melting away because of sheer boredom)

“Amadaeis, interesting,”Lucitius hummed.

“You’re seriously going to trust this creature? A damn demon, a Prince no less?”Mardicos hissed.

Lucitius glanced at him.

“Typically no, yet this one is an exception,”Lucitius replied.

Mardicos rolled his eyes.

“When we all die and go to this place called Hell, don’t come near me, because I try to kill you,”Mardicos growled.

“Dear Mardicos, you underestimate me. Besides, Hell has enough souls without any of us,”Lucitius mused.

“Tell that to the demon.”

“I believe he has heard every word, Mardicos. I have no need to tell him anything.”

Mardicos growled and rolled his eyes again, not bothering to reply. Lucitius simply smiled, amused.

Goldergon and Ehvara were too preoccupied with flying to care.

Lucitius turned to Amadaeis with a thoughtful gaze, a hint of melancholy was beneath it.

“The eldest. I know that feeling,”he said.

Mardicos huffed. Lucitius gave him a side-long glance, almost a glare.

“You have no siblings, nor any family to speak of. Dare not provoke what you know nothing of,”Lucitius growled.

“I serve you, so, of course, your majesty,”Mardicos hissed back.

Lucitius turned to him fully, then walked over to him, blue mist following his movements. He grabbed Mardicos by the chin, lifting him to his feet. A strange warbling growl echoed in his throat.

“I appreciate your willingness to fight me, yet you choose the wrong moment to fight. I may be sane, yet I shall never be stable,”Lucitius snarled.

“And I appreciate your honesty, but I’m going to fight you whenever I feel like it. I am no servant,”Mardicos retorted.

Lucitius stared at him, then grinned wide.

“Dominance. Why had I not thought of that before? You have never served, nor shall you. We are allies, yet you are not bound to me,”Lucitius said with a laugh.

“Then let go of me!”

Lucitius obliged casually. Mardicos glared at him, then walked away.

“I will return. I need some air,”Mardicos added before anyone could question him.

After Mardicos left, Goldergon abruptly spoke up as he and Ehvara floated by.

“Who is Christ? Some human from another time?”

Lucitius snorted,”Regardless, I still crave to leave.”

(Lol. Well, I think right now, most everyone’s goofing off and/or preparing to leave with Lucitius)

Mardicos waved her off, soon disappearing into the woods. Lucitius watched, then turned to Asuka.

“Let him be. Mardicos is a loner, and an alpha. He serves no one, so now he must acclimate to the idea of working with us. He will return, he just needs that moment to think,”Lucitius explained.

Goldergon and Ehvara landed near the others, both giggling for a long moment. They then turned to appraise the situation before them.

“We are leaving to explore? I… somewhat remember… that I loved to travel,”Goldergon asked, grinning.

“I would… love to travel… too,”Ehvara said, smiling timidly.

Lucitius turned to Asuka.

“I cannot be certain if his attitude shall change, yet his capabilities are worth the price of his personality. Those of his particularly unique condition are difficult to find, and harder to keep. He knows not of all of his abilities, and there are many, myne dear Archangel,”Lucitius cooed.

Goldergon walked over to a wall and started to tap it, as if studying it. Ehvara moved to stand beside him, curious and confused.

“It feels solid, and yet it looks so fluid. Is that normal?”Goldergon mumbled.

Lucitius turned to watch the pair.

“It is how you see it, Goldergon.”

“It looks so strange, though. Are we leaving yet?”Goldergon commented, abruptly changing subjects without seeming to realize it.

“In time,”Lucitius replied.

A few minutes later, a distant howl could be heard. Then, a little while later, Mardicos strolled back into the village, seeming much more at ease.

“Alright, Lucitius. I will stay by your side, but I am not your pet. If I decide to roam, I will roam. If I decide to hunt down someone or something that I believe deserves it, I will do so. If you attempt to stop me, you’re not leaving without a few extra scars,”Mardicos stated.

Lucitius smiled.

“I never desired you as a pet. You have your free will, what more need be said.”

“Good. Now, is there anything else to do besides stand here all day? I haven’t been this restless in ages, which is why I’ve been rather agitated as of late,”Mardicos asked, glancing at Asuka with a subtle apologetic gaze.

Lucitius shrugged, looking around to see if anyone had anything to add.

Goldergon and Ehvara still stood next to a wall, listening but quiet.

Lucitius raised his hands and electricity sparked on the ground, spreading in a ten foot circle around him.

“Those that are ready, step into the circle. I still have someone for Radiant to meet,”he said with a thoughtful smile.

Mardicos nodded at Asuka’s look, then cautiously stepped into the circle, the electricity lightly tapping at his feet.

Goldergon and Ehvara quickly joined. Goldergon giggled like a child as the electricity tickled his feet.

Lucitius smiled softly as Asuka. He wiggled his fingers and the electricity danced around the group, harmlessly tapping limbs and creating static.

“There is no danger, Radiant. I have known lightning sorcery such as this for most of mine life, and mastered it long ago,”he cooed.

Goldergon grinned, absolutely fascinated by the electricity. Ehvara smiled, watching Goldergon and giggling.

Mardicos watched the electricity cautiously, but otherwise remained calm and still.

(Like I said, I’m casual either way. Though, I’m not sure who I’d add after these guys. Kind of a combination of indecision and mind-blank)
