Angelo tilted his head, pulling Habiki down. "I suppose we are. Beasts we are, ay."

habiki laughed softly " yeah."

Angelo yawned and closed his eyes for a moment, feeling the weight and warmth of Habiki on him. "…Do you still want to go after your parent?" He mumbled sleepily

" i dont know, i mean, facing those hunters and if we have rose.." he sounded sad and indecisive

Angelo nodded, sighing. But then, he had an idea.
"What if we… what if we turned Rose?"

" wait. what do you mean? we dont even know whats going to happen if you report max."

Angelo blushed, nodding agan. "R-right. Right. We don't know yet." He closed his eyes, then pressed his lips together as he looked up at Habiki. "I think I should call the coach now."

habiki sighed " you should.." he said and got up

Angelo sighed deeply, pulling out his phone and dialing the coach as he walked into a different room, not wanting Habiki to relive those memories.
"Yeah? Hey. Yeah I need to report Max for something…"

" and that is?" the coach asked

Angelo sighed, closing his eyes as he struggled to say the words.
"He and Habiki, they… y'know. And Habiki didn't want to, and I know Biki's not a minor, but he still didn't want to…"

" so. your saying he did shit with habiki that he wasn't suppose and had no consent. thats still a hefty charge. ill get somebody on it." he paused from the phone a few minutes, adding max into the convo. "so, wanna explain?"

Angelo's face turned red as he sat on the bed. Goddammit

Max had obviosuly been sobbing, his voice cracking as he started to speak. "Coach…. I-I… It's my fault. I did something terrible."

" I'm glad you own up to it. But that's a criminal charge max. Child affairs will be called," he said.

Max started to cry again, shaking his head as he tried to stay on the phone. "Shit… what the hell have I done…" All because of some stupid jealousy issues and that… that weird thing in the air!!

Angelo hung his head. He had never felt worse in his life. Max had been his best friend since high school, and sure he had issues, btut he had always worked past them. He started to cry himself, shaking his head. Why, Max? Why?

(;~;) " I'll make you a deal max. You figure out your crap with the judge and I'll get someone to let rose stay with habiki, so you know she's in good hands?"

Max nodded, muttering a "mmhmm." As more tears ran down his face. "I want her to be safe. I don't want her to be with me."

Angelo's eyes widened at the statement. A kid?? Already?? He thought, staring at the wall. Holy hell…

The coach sighed " is habiki alright?"

Angelo cleared his throat. "Y-yeah. He's okay. He's not hurt, just… shaken up."

Max sighed. Thank god…

The coach exhaled "good. Have rose packed by tomorrow. Kay max?"

Max sniffed again, unsure of how to tell his sister that she couldn't live with him anymore. "O-okay"

The coach sighed and hung up
Habiki sat wrapped up in the blanket, sleeping but not heavily enough to sleep through the night.

Angelo buried hi his in his hands, slowly joining Habiki after a while. “How did it come to this?” He asked himself, tears still falling down his face

"what do you mean ang?" habiki asked softly

Angelo jumped, then sighed.
“Max is facing criminal charges. Rose is in our care.” He mumbled

" wait.. really?"

Angelo nodded, his expression still blank and melancholy

" hey.. it'll be alright.."

Angelo nodded slightly, picking up Habiki and setting him in his lap. "Thank you.."

"mh.." he hummed softly in response
