Rose considered it impossible that his face could feel anymore heated. He was sure that his cheeks wer teh same tint as his red eyes. “Thank you,” he squeaked in a faint tone.

Cade scratched the back of his neck. "Y-youre welcome…"

After a moment of tense silence, Rose spoke up again. “Should we get going to go get the food?”
"Yeah, that's be great," Cade said, laughing nervously.
pets
Rose smiled a bit and stepped out from behind the curtain, walking towards the door.
(wow I thought I replied to this, sorry)
Cade followed, fidgeting a bit and swinging the gallon of water around just a little.
pets
(It’s all good lol)
As Rose walked alongside Cade, he looked down at the giant water bottle with an arched brow. “That’s a lot of water for one person,” he commented, looking back up at Cade’s face.
He glanced down at it, getting nervous again. "Yeah… I get dehydrated easily. Don't worry about it, it's completely normal." His words were a little rushed, and he could feel his mouth getting a bit dry.

“Oh, okay then,” Rose said with a smile. Do humans get dehydrated easily? He guessed so. That would be terrible.
(where are they going btw?)
pets
(Uh, they could just be going to some sort of casual restaurant. Like Chilies or something lmaoo)
(okay lol)
They finally arrived at {insert casual restaurant name here}. Cade opened the door for Rose.

Rose smiled at Cade. “Thank you,” He said, stepping inside. He tucked his hands into his pockets, thankful that it was a casual get together. He would have looked very out of place if they had gone somewhere nicer.
"Where do you want to sit?" He asked, looking around. It wasn't very crowded, so the restaurant was filled with quiet chatter.
pets
“We could sit over there,” Rose suggested, nodding his head towards an open booth by a window.
"Looks good to me," he said with a shrug, moving to sit down.

Rose nodded and walked over, sitting down on one of the seats. He leaned his elbows against the table, smiling to himself before picking up a menu.
Cade picked up a menu as well, but ended up staring at a painting hung up on the wall. It was of a man with his back turned, staring out at the sea. "You know what's sad about that man?" He asked Rose, pointing at the painting.
pets
Rose looked up at the painting with a confused expression. “No, what?” He responded, looking back at Cade.
"He'll never have a face," he said, sighing and staring at the painting sadly.
pets
Rose frowned now, looking back up at the painting. “You’re right.. I’d be sad if I didn’t have a face,” he said softly.
"I would want to cry. But I wouldn't be able to because I wouldn't have a face."
(btw my dad said this at a restaurant once and it was so funny because he never says anything like that so everybody was asking if he was okay lol.)
pets
(Lmaooo)
Rose giggled at that and nodded in agreement. “That would be terrible.”
"I'm glad I have a face," he said. turning back to look at Rose.
pets
“I’m glad I have one too,” Rose agreed. “That would look scary if someone didn’t have one.”
"Right," Cade agreed. "I'm glad you have a face, too."
pets
Rose’s cheeks flushed a tad as he laughed in a timid way, glancing down at his lap before looking back at Cade. “I’m glad that you have one also.”
"Thank you," he said, smiling. He looked down at his menu, trying to figure out what to order.
pets
Rose smiled lightly and opened his menu, flipping through the few pages. He decided he should just have something on the lighter side. A salad or something, maybe.
Cade finally picked what he wanted and ordered. He also got a large cup of water and a beer.
