(May I be a medic?)

(Of course. I’ll in the post for you right away.)

(Thank you.)

( I have an idea, so the assassin could be a secret allie and help them without them knowing. They would only know her by her fearsome name ShadowWolf.?)

(Well, if she’s helping them, I’m not sure the bodyguard would be able to ignore her presence.)

( No I mean like say if someone was following them and the body guards didn't notice. She would sneak up and kill the person for them and they wouldn't even know.
Another example say there was a battle. She appears to help them finally and they would only know her as the ShadowWolf from the rumors.

Do you get what I am trying to say?)

Azalea froze as a soft voice filled her ears. Nyir. Of course. Azalea wasn’t alone. She had Nyir with her. Nyir had lost just as much as she had. Why was she crying, when Nyir was just as much as troubled as she was?
“I’m fine,” Azalea said quickly, wiping her tears away. “Did I disturb you, Nyir? Are you comfortable in your tent? You know I don’t mind having you in here.”

(Yes, I understand. But what I’m trying to say is that since Nyir is appointed as Azalea’s bodyguard, she wouldn’t be the type to let even the slightest of dangers slip by, so someone follow them wouldn’t end up nicely. I don’t disagree with your idea, but I guess what you could do is have the assassin follow the group quietly, curious, and then showing herself, as you said, in a battle when they’re outmatched.)

( Ok then I can do this in the mornig then, i gtg for the night.)

Name: Allienora Thronton
Age: Twenty-two
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Status: Medic/healer
Talent: Allie is best with healing injuries and performing surgeries. However, while she is talented with making remedies for illnesses, she seems to catch them easily.
Appearance: Allienora has taken black hair and beautiful blue eyes. Though despite spending time outside to help those injured on the battle field, she is actually quite pale and burns easily. She has full lips and good cheekbones, but she almost always has dark circles under her eyes
Personality: Allienora is kind and to the point while helping a patient. She's open and speaks to them about their problems, internally and externally. But when she's not with a patient, she really nervous around everyone. She stutters and blushed and can barely speak two sentences.
Trivial Information: She gets sick very easily. That's why, whenever dealing with a sick patient, she wears as many things as she can to make sure she doesn't catch the illness.

Nyir shook her head, crawling fully into the tent and sitting cross-legged across from her. Her shoulders lifted in a half shrug. "I wasn't sleeping. I need to keep watch." She smiled a wane, half-hearted grin. "You can cry, you know. I don't mind."

(That’s entirely up to you!)

Allienora sat in the medic tent across from her fellow medic. She said nothing to him. She rarely ever spoke to anyone unless she was with a patient. It was easier to talk then. But for the life of her she couldn't talk when she wasn't with one, not even one on one. It was pathetic. She knew it was.

Azalea sniffled and wiped her nose with a cloth, before crumpling it in her hands.
“No, I’m fine,” Azalea insisted, even as her vision blurred and tears escaped her eyes. She quickly wiped them away, scolding herself for being weak. “I will be, in a while. Don’t worry about me, Nyir. You’re tired yourself.”

(Oh, wait, I read that completely wrong. One person can only submit one character, sorry!)

@WriteOutofTime

"Tired? I'm too pissed off to be tired." She closed her eyes, cupping her face in her hands. "I need to think, and I need to keep you safe. Sleeping's the lowest on my priority list."

“You can’t protect me if you’re tired,” Azalea reasoned. “It will be all right, Nyir.”
Azalea didn’t want to be a burden to Nyir, which she already found herself to be for the young bodyguard.
“Please, Nyir. You’ll tire. You’ll get sick. I can’t lose you, not like I lost everyone.”

@WriteOutofTime

"Princess," Nyir began, her eyes reopening, "If I try to sleep now I'll go crazy. You have ways to cope with this, and so do I. I'll sort myself out in time."

(How should I jump in?)

Azalea bit her lip before finally nodding.
“I understand,” she whispered before taking a deep breath. “We’ll get moving once the sun rises. If we linger, they might get to us.”

(That’s honestly up to you. However, it would be best if they don’t meet that quickly.)

K.

@WriteOutofTime

"Right," Nyir agreed. She glanced at the girl, her eyes softening. She looked so small and frightened in the dim light. She offered what she hoped was a kind smile. "Get some sleep, Princess. Night won't last forever."

Azalea nodded, smiling back as best as she could before laying back down, bringing her knees to her chest once more.
Azalea knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep peacefully, but Nyir was right. She needed to rest. Nyir was trained to have a higher endurance. Azalea was not.
“Goodnight, Nyir,” she mumbled quietly.

@WriteOutofTime

"Goodnight," she whispered back before returning to her post outside the tent. Her hands gripped the handle of her sword and she waited for morning to arrive.

Azalea felt a pang of nausea hit her the minute she woke up, but she dared not throw up. Pulling herself to her feet and wiping her tear-stained face, Azalea exited the camp. She felt hungry, but Azalea didn’t think that she could stomach any food.
Azalea’s eyes searched around for Nyir, but when she could not find her, she began to panic.
Had Nyir left? Did Nyir realize Azalea would only be a burden to her, and that she was better off alone?
No! Azalea shook her head. Nyir is better than that. Maybe she met with some trouble…

She watched as the castle burned to the ground. She knew it was inevitable, but she felt helpless, sitting there, watching it burn. The flames reflected in her eyes……….vengeance. She was loyal to the king after the money he generously gave her to treat her father. The one who had just died.. The only family member she had.….Then she saw a group of survivors running away from the battle. So she went over to investigate to find the king's daughter along with her group of bodyguards. Protect the princess. She immediately thought as she silently followed the group, not wanting to see anymore bloodshed. She knew this was what the king wanted and she might be their only hope. She didn't show herself. Lets see what she's made of. She knew if she was going to save this world, she needed to learn and experience is the best teacher.

Lucian’s eyes flicked up at the other medic occasionally. She was a very quiet woman, never spoke to him much outside of work. But he supposed it was fine, he was usually working anyways. He finished the paper he had been working on, setting it aside with a stack of others. He ran a hand over his eyes, exhaling slowly and softly.

@WriteOutofTime

Nyir returned from scouting the perimeter, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. She had a feeling someone was following them, but after looking around extensively, there seemed to be no other signs besides her gut feeling. She decided to let it go, but stay on high alert. No harm could come to her princess, not while she still breathed.

As she returned to the clearing by the tent, she saw Azalea standing near the tent looking frantic. The hopeless look in her eyes sent a pang of agony through Nyir's heart. She kept her expression neutral. "Good morning, Princess," she called.
