"I suppose light-magic can do that. Or I could, if you'd just ask. But I can't do it in this suppressed state." He stated, not sure what everyone would say.

Maroon nodded. Maybe if he cured Evan, his parents would say that they loved him too and that he's not the cause of Evan's problems.

Allura followed the conversation with wide eyes. These people were magic users! She had always wanted to be a magic user but it was outlawed in the Iehuian society.
Maroon turned to look at the girl, "I'm not magical."
Odette was excited, perhaps there would be a way for her to further advance her echolocation. She hadn't told anyone about it but she knew she had it due to it accidentally happening in the past. It hadn't happened since and she wondered if it was possible that she could rediscover it here.
"I'm not sure if I'm magical, I've never really tried anything" Allura confessed, "apart from these tattoos." Allura rolled up her sleeves and showed the group the blue lines winding up her arms.
Maroon nodded and then decreased the volume, he should be safe for now.
Allura looked excited suddenly. "Do you think you could teach me magic?" she asked Bennet, curious.
"I can try to, okay?" He says, walking with his hands in his pockets.
"Thanks!" Allura said. It had been ages since she felt this relaxed. But suddenly her thoughts returned to her 9-year-old twin brothers back in Acidrain. She would need to be back soon, they wouldn't know what to do if they were alone.

Lucy caught up to Bennett, falling into step beside him. “It’s comletely legal to practice magic in this place?” She felt bad for asking him constant questions, but she was just so curious.
"Yeah. This dimension is really out of sync with our own as far as time is concerned, we're in Medieval times here, and they aren't so strict on magic as they were in U-113." He said, amicably.

“That’s amazing,” Lucy murmured. She loved the idea of being able to freely practice magic, and found it difficult to suppress her excitement.
"Here we are, everyone." Bennett says. "Getting you all in is going to be difficult, but I have an idea." He rested a hand on Lucy's and Robin's shoulders, and vanished from the others' sight, the landscape around himself and his two passengers, changing instantly, from the outer gate of a castle, to the inside of a hut. "Here we are!"

Lucy felt slightly dizzy from the teleporting-like ability. Bennett’s aura felt crowded, and she seemed to shrug his hand from her shoulder, hoping it wouldn’t seem rude. She looked around the hut taking in the details of the inside. “Are you just going to get the others inside the same way, or do you have something else planned?” She asked Bennett.
With that he vanished again, reappearing with Maroon and Odette. "That answer your question?" He vanished again, bringing back Allura. "We're all set."

Lucy nodded, taking her spell book from her satchel.
Robin shook his head to clear it, taking a few moments to steady himself. "Ugh… Where are we now?" They seemed to just be hopping from dimension to dimension now. Orchid chirped defiantly, preening her ruffled feathers
Odette felt sick, one minute she was one place, the next she wasn't. She then watched as Bennet disappeared, then reappeared with Allura. Had he… teleported them?

Lucy tested the energy of the room, and felt very comfortable in the atmosphere. Her head didn’t throb and her nose didn’t bleed when she reached out mentally to read others. She smiled softly to herself and held onto the book.
"Bennett put a hand onto Odette and Robin's foreheads, easing their minds and bodies, but not curing them altogether. He was going to have to refrain from using his powers too much. "Say hello to a 'friend' of mine, Acheris." A withered old man with a short, thick beard came out to greet them, wearing a golden and purple hooded robe and holding a gnarled teak staff.
Robin greeted the man politely, more relaxed after Bennett's 'treatment'. Orchid chirped a short greeting as well before continuing to groom her feathers
"Now that everyone is feeling well." He turns to the man. "These young mortals would like to learn from you." The man nodded in affirmation, and looked at Lucy. "This one already has a spell book I see?" He says.
Allura shook her head, trying to clear the blurry feeling that had accompanied the teleportation.
"Are you okay?" Bennett says, steadying her. Apparently humans couldn't handle the teleportation, although Maroon was holding up wonderfully.
"Er, I don't really know that much magic." Robin commented awkwardly. "I just talk to animals. Hence the bird." He gestured towards Orchid, who chirped curtly. "Orchid, that's rude."
"Very well."
Maroon sat down, bored and tired from walking so much. "I'm not used to this," he complained.
