“Oh..” Lucy said softly. She was hesitant, remembering how crowded his aura felt, but wrapped her arms around him. She took a shuddering breath, doing her best to block out the noise in her mind.

The landscape changed instantly around them, to where Maroon was.
"C'mon, we're going." Bennett said.
Maroon jumped back, "Holy shit, dude!"

Lucy let go and blinked a few times to adjust her vision, as she felt slightly dizzy.
"Sorry." Bennett apologized, we're going to find our comrades. So grab onto me."
He turned to Lucy. "You cool?" He said.

Lucy nodded, waving him off. She nudged her glasses up before holding onto one of his arms.
Maroon adjusted his glasses and touched Bennett's arm. "Give a guy a damn warning next time, man!"
Bennett snapped his fingers, switching his aura from it's usual balanced messiness, to one of pure soothing. He teleported again, this time to Odette, with his two friends hanging on.

Lucy released a sharp breath of relief. She was unsure of how his aura could have possibly changed, but she was greatful that it did.
"Where are we?" Robin asked. Since he had learned how to summon butterflies and birds, he seemed to always have a small cloud of them surrounding him.
"We haven't left yet." Bennett said.
When everyone was gathered, they left, the backdrop turned white, and then the white faded, revealing tall, looming skyscrapers, a citywide elevator system, and a bunch of technologically advanced vehicles and equipment around.
"Dimension U-556, or Neonspark, here we are."

Lucy let go of Bennet and looked around, turning as she did so. “This place seems very crowded and busy,” she said, almost to herself.
"Welcome to the future. Or, at least it is here." Bennett said.
Robin definitely agreed with that. He hid behind Lucy, the crowds making him anxious. He always felt like he would get lost in crowds.

“And why did you choose this as our next place to visit? Anything interesting to do here?” Lucy questioned. She rubbed Robin’s shoulder, doing her best to try and calm his aura.
Maroon grunted, "Look, a place. Wow."
Yes, there is! This place has all kinds of crazy stuff. Over there is a shooting range. Laser-guns anyone? "
"Are they dangerous?" A bird delicately landed on Robin's head.

Lucy jabbed Maroon in the ribs lightly with her elbow, then smiled at Bennet. “I’ve never touched any kind of gun, but it sounds fun.” She looked toward the other, waiting to see what they would say.
"They're not like guns from our Earth., no kick, little noise, minimal work, and lots of fun." He said. "They even have holograms for you to shoot at instead of targets."
Robin still seemed skeptical, but he definitely wasn't going to be left alone in this crowd. Wherever the group went, there he was going also.
"Hey!" Maroon grunted.

“I barely touched you,” Lucy said. “Let’s get going then,” she continued excitedly.
"I'm not used to people jabbing me." Maroon grumbled, folding his arms.
(Time skip.)
"Everyone suited up?" Bennett said, he had on his multi surface boots, energy shield belt, and holograph vest, which put his name, a hit indicator, and some other info on display around him. He looked towards everyone else, and took a Mjolnir-67 off the rack. "The belt will protect you from the shots of other people, the boots allow you to walk on walls and water, and the vest, well, it's your display. Out there, is a simulation, it's like a team death match, but the other team are bloodless holograms who can't *really hurt you."
Robin felt very strange in all the gear, which was heavy and made it difficult for him to walk without stumbling. "W-wait, I thought you said it wasn't dangerous!"

Lucy seemed fine in the gear and she looked at Robin. “It’s not. They aren’t real, they can’t hurt you. It’s sort of like laser tag, only taken to a literal sense.”
Maroon was exhausted, "Physical exertion isn't on my bucket list."
"Then why do we need belts to protect us? A-and why did he describe it as a 'team death match'?" He held the laser gun awkwardly, clearly never having held a gun before in his life.
