Thatcher pushed to his feet and nodded at the Madame. “May the gods respect you in the afterlife,” he said simply. What else could he say? He never said anything to people who were to die, he just didn’t.

( Ugh sorry I have SUCH a busy day today and I am about to go sleep soon. Trying to do the best I can with this rp.)

The Madame nodded, her head bowed at them as she watched them all go.

Although she goes to leave, Luella is still unsure what she should do. If she would attempt to stay with the others or not. They seem likely to strike out on their own, but the Madame had requested them all. So, do they need to work together? Plus, she knows her knowledge of Darsinium is limited. She has only been travelling for a year. This is the first time she has ventured so far from the safety of her home. She would prefer safety in numbers, but she does not know how to voice this desire.

Thatcher pushed to his feet as well, clicking his tongue again, and Morana blinded over. He gave her middle head a pat with his gloved hand. He decides to just walk away, not quite sure if he wanted to participate in this little activity or not. He didn’t tend to work well with others. His whole life, he worked alone, so he wasn’t quite fond of the new way of working. He stepped outside, tipping back his hood to squint up at the sky.

Orion stayed behind for a moment, nodding once again to the Matriarch. Padding out, he saw the others milling. "If anyone would wish to travel with me, then they may."

@Lackyducks

Luella's look of relief is obvious as she steps to him, looking up from the shadow of her cloak. Her eyes glow slightly gold. She is still clutching the papers to her chest, with one of her arms wrapped around the strap of her bag. They both appear to hold the same importance to her. In a quiet voice, she asks, "Do you have knowledge of the capital, then?" She isn't sure how to address this, person? They are at least humanoid in nature.

A soft, "I do. My name is Orion." His papers are safely stowed in the death of his cloak, which fits him loosley. Standing, he reaches 6'3", and seems to know his own strength.

@Lackyducks

She smiles, a small, nervous thing, but sweet. Some might call it naïve. "My name is Luella. It is a pleasure to meet you, Orion." She bows her head. She still looks fairly young for a half-elf of her age. They always joked she took after her father, only being of average human height. But despite her apparent nerves, she stands tall. There is evidently still elven blood in her.

Thatcher’s gaze shifted to the other two as he listened in on the conversation. Morana sat to his left, seeming almost as still as a statue. He looked down at the hound, giving a few clicks that asked ‘Should we join them?’ The hounds heads looked up, two giving the answer yes but the very right, the more hostile seeming one, said no. He frowned slightly, repeating the clicks in quicker way to say ‘Majority rules.’

Orion nodded. Quietly, he asked, "Shall we wait for our fourth companion before setting off?"
( @insanleymyself , are you going to be playing another character? )
