Antoine chuckles, "So would I."
IS HE GAY?... Or European? (One on One// Closed)
Alistair smiled. "So, what do you do? Like, what's your job?"
Antoine hums, "I'm an author." He says cheerfully. "I actually just released my second book. I focus on mainly Juvenile fiction."
"That's really cool!" Alistair responds enthusiastically. "What was the book about?"
"Mmm, a few teens, the son of a demon lord, a girl who can see ghosts, and a boy who destroys what he touches, are hired by the SNI, or the Super Natural Intelligence, to take down the demon lord. Basically, they face different monsters, infiltrate the demon lords ranks and try to take him down. All the while, trying to keep a war between the humans and the supernatural to happen."
"Juvie book or not, I would totally read that. It sounds awesome!" Alistair said.
"Thank you." he chuckles softly.
Lol it's actually a book I'm working on right now, just with more characters//
nice, I would legit read it. I'm intrigued. Also, wanna time skip to when Tony is released from the hospital?///
Sure//
okie//
"Okay, it looks like you're good to check out," the doctor said to Tony. "Just keep the brace on at all times and the arm in a sling, except when showering, and come back in a week so we can check over everything. Okay?"
Antoine nods, "Thanks, doctor." He says, smiling a little bit. "Let's get going yeah?"
"Sounds good," Alistair replied, relieved. He wasn't a huge fan of hospitals, to be honest. "Where to?"
"Anywhere." He says, "It's better than this place." He nods to the nurses before the head out.
"Well, it's pretty late, so not much is open now. Plus it's still snowing" Alistair considered. "My apartment is pretty close to here, we could try going there?"
"Sounds good to me." He chuckles, "My house is a bit far, so I'd appreciate it." He says softly.
"No problem," Alistair replied. "Would you like to walk or take a cab?"
"Let's take a cab. Wouldn't want you getting sick, now would we?" He asks, chuckling softly.
"I would really rather not," Alistair agreed with a smile as he pushed Tony's wheelchair across the lobby. "There'll probably be one out here, there usually is."
"Alright." He chuckles softly, "Thank heaven for Taxi's."
After hailing a cab, helping Tony into it, and pushing the wheelchair back into the hospital, Alistair got in next to Tony and gave the driver the address. He leaned back and sighed. "What a night, huh?"
"No kidding. I'm just glad they released me before midnight this time." He laughs, shaking his head.
Alistair chuckled. "That is quite a relief," he replied. "I would have stayed either way, though. It's no fun to be in the hospital alone." He smiled sadly.
He smiles a little. "That's very kind of you, Alistair." He says softly. "It really isn't fun being alone, but I've gotten used to it."
"No problem, Tony," Alistair said. "And I'm sorry you had to get used to it."
He shrugs. "When it comes to others pain, I can't empathize, and I don't know how to help." He shrugs and sighs softly.
"Hey, that's not your fault," Alistair said, looking over at him. "Don't be too hard on yourself"
He shrugs, "A lot of people take offense, so I stopped trying to make friends." He shakes his head.
"I'm sorry," Alistair said, reaching over and taking Tony's hand. "I'd be happy to be your friend if you'll have me."
Antoine looks towards him, "I'd appreciate that." He says softly. He starts when the other takes his hand. Wait… it's just friendly interaction. Besides! I'm straight!
At that moment, they pulled up in front of Alistair's apartment. "Oh, here we are!" he exclaimed. He paid the cabby, then helped Tony out of the car. "I live on the fifth floor, but luckily for us, there's an elevator."
