@Mr.Misfit

The ride was an all-terrain 'hummer with reinforced armor, painted in the orange, black and white of the Serathem Battalion. It parked right in front of Alaria, and a soldier poked his head out of the gunner's port on top, waving, "Althael, Sethara!"

Alaria raised a hand, "English, Kim." She opened the back door of the hummer for the three, and gestured, "Shall we?"

@SincereBeastie

"Sure, let's go," Jay led Patagonia to the vehicle, thanking Alaria before waiting for the other two to get in, as custom.(Sleep time he's just being quiet, drag him around or meh. :3)

@Oakie Dokie

(night)
Patagonia scrambled into the Hummer with much effort, as she was only 5'2".

Mila

Lucia clambered in after Patagonia, hitting her head on the arch of the door.
"I never thought I'd ride a Hummer, let alone with reinforced armour, and even less one of the Serathem Battalion." she laughed quietly to herself.

@Oakie Dokie

"Get used to it, you're with a former Ivy League member and these two crazies," Patagonia laughed awkwardly, trying to make small talk and take her mind off of the past coming back to haunt her every movement.

@Mr.Misfit

Alaria smiled as she heard Lucia and Patagonia marvel. It was nice to see that the Serathem hadn't been forgotten. Then again, why would they be? They were the best hybrid soldiers known to mankind. Well, as far as Alaria was concerned, anyway. (She's only slightly proud….)

She hopped into the driver seat, and they took off down the road, rattling along quickly through the streets of the city. All the while, Kim updated her on the situation with the captive Ivy League member, speaking in Serathan.

Mila

The movement of the war vehicle was familiar to Lucia. The silent movement across the roads, the gentle whir of the engine. It brought back memories, memories her mother had tried so hard to make her forget, though she very well knew it would never happen.
Her father had been such a prominent part of Lucia's life for a good number of years, it wasn't a matter of a couple years to forget everything.

@SincereBeastie

Jay leaned against the door of the vehicle with his chin rested against a fist. Where were the living captives of this group going? Why were they killing so many people? Patagonia had told him parts of her story, not much like the others, and he knew that they did a decent job of taking out the tough people. He slid his hand down into one of his pockets to his own pistol, feeling comforted by the smooth metal. This whole situation was making his brain hurt. He was glad that him and his new companions were finally getting somewhere in this mess.

@Mr.Misfit

(Won't be able to do much today. I'll try, but in case I'm not here when we arrive, here's a description of Pride headquarters, main staging area for the Serathem Battalion:

The base is massive, easily spanning 5 or more football fields in both length and width. The outer perimeter is comprised of chain link fence, topped with razor wire, guarding a large stone wall about a foot thick, with a lip at the top to deter climbing. The road is guarded by two security checkpoints, all manned by Wolf and Fox hybrids. Alaria can clear both with a flash of her shoulder armor, decorated with the symbol of the Serathem, a half fox/wolf face with six wings branching from it. Below, her own symbol, a dagger with butterfly wings. Once inside, the maze of garrison houses, garages, and weapon ranges seems to go on endlessly. There is a fair amount of hustle and bustle, and gunfire fills the air from the ranges, punctuated by the occasional explosion. Fox, wolf, and even some cat hybrids run in formation, shouting out the vows of honor as they run.

A little extensive but feel free to do as you see fit!)

@Oakie Dokie

(wow o_0)

@SincereBeastie

(Mhm lol. Though I do think I'm alright with taking a break for the day on it.)

Mila

The Hummer pulled up to the base. The chain link fence rose up in front of them. Lucia slipped out of the vehicle, staring up wonderingly.

@Oakie Dokie

Patagonia stared in wonder at everytihng before her. "This is… safe."

@Mr.Misfit

(I'm back-ish. Kinda getting a little tight with time, but things will be slightly better on tuesday.)

Alaria's grin grew into a proud smile as she listened to Patagonia and Lucia. Nothing made her happier than seeing people react to the order and strength of her and her army.

"Welcome, everyone, to Pride Headquarters." Alaria took off her heavy armor, leaving it in the back of the hummer, trusting Kim would know to return it to her Garrison House. She directed the group down the eastward road as the hummer sped north, "Buddy boy will be in the infirmiry. We'll be picking him up there. Oh, and feel free to ask about anything you see on the way there. I'm a bit more relaxed when it comes to operational security. At least, around people that can handle themselves."

Alaria looked to Patagonia, a slight smirk on her face.

@SincereBeastie

Jay looked around the facility they had been dropped into. It was large. "I prefer not to collect information when I don't have to," He informed her, hoping it would concrete an alliance between a rebellious gang and an official group. He really wasn't one to start political problems. "A pretty impressive and interesting place, though." He followed the group from a short step behind.

Mila

Lucia walked behind Alaria, looking around at the fence and concrete walls. Pride Headquarters… It really was very impressive.
(sorry I'm mixed up why did they go to the headquarters again?)

@SincereBeastie

(To question Patagonia's older brother who surprised them earlier, to question for information about the Ivy League)

Mila

(ah right sorry)

@Oakie Dokie

All Patagonia could do was drool in excitement at the base. It was amazing!! She ran around like a two-year-old in one of Disney's candy shoppes, freaking out over the littlest of things. "When are we going inside?"

@Mr.Misfit

Alaria glanced at Jay, dropping her smile. It had slipped her mind that Jay was a gang member. He wasn't exactly what she had expected from a gang member, though. Keeping an eye on him might not be so neccessary.

"You don't need to worry too much. None of you will be seeing anything you shouldn't be seeing. Besides, it's gonna take more than a gang and a couple of girls to put us down."

Patagonia was loosing her mind. She ran this way and that, nearly jumping into the path of hummers. Alaria's smile returned. She gently pulled Patagonia from the mess of traffic and people, and they continued walking. Alaria pointed to the infirmiry building accross the road as they came to it, "That's it. Let's go."

Mila

Lucia looked over to where Alaria was pointing. It was nothing special, a big concrete building. They crossed the road towards it, Patagonia wriggling in Alaria's grasp and Jay staring straight ahead.

@Oakie Dokie

"Inside!?" Apatagonia shrieked, reaching out and hugging Alaria. "God, I love you." (Patty had too much coffee :P)

@Mr.Misfit

Alaria felt her face go red in Patagonia's embrace, but there wasn't much she could do about it. She knew that no soldier would question what was happening, but she still found herself uneasy with Patagonia. She changed so much, so quickly, her timid nature easily replaced with enthusiasm and curiosity. Still, the girl had a soft spot for military prowess it seemed. Alaria respected that.

On Lucia's face was a look somewhere between boredom and mental absence. Maybe she had her own experience with military. A parent in the service, perhaps? Alaria didn't dare ask. If it mattered, Lucia would tell. Then again, Alaria didn't know as much about Lucia as she wanted. She was too quiet.

They walked into the infirmiry, and the scent of medication hit their noses full force. A few hybrid nurses looked up as Lucia entered, surprised to see a human. Alaria gave them a harsh stare, and they went back to their business.

Mila

Lucia realized as the maids squinted their eyes at her that she was the only human present. Blushing, she looked at the floor, wringing her hands.
Though she was glad they could question buddy boy, this decor did not bring back any memories that she enjoyed remembering, and so she tried to distract herself, think about something else. She didn't think anyone had noticed.
She looked up and, sure enough, Patagonia's brother was lying on a bed, leg wrapped in bandages. A small surge of pride flowed through Lucia, and she stood up straighter.

@SincereBeastie

Jay leaned his elbow on Lucia's shoulder, just as a thought as to what might make her feel like she stuck out less. He chuckled at the silly bedside women. "Like they've never seen a human, ami'rite?" He gazed at the man laid out on the bed. "Pretty impressive work, gals."

Mila

Lucia jumped as Jay leaned into her. She fought back her blushing as he spoke.
"Like they've never seen a human, am I right?" he laughed. She let slip a snort as he looked at Patagonia's brother.
"Is he conscious? I can't tell." Lucia asked the group.

@Oakie Dokie

"God, I just wanna beat his sorry arse…" Patagonia muttered, sitting against the wall and stroking her tail angrily.

@Mr.Misfit

"Well then let's get to work," She turned to the two guards stationed in the infirmiry, speaking in Serathan, "Yas sho! Keth ye!" (You two! Take him!)

Mila

(does anyone on this rp have premium? if so, is it worth it?)
Lucia listened incredulously as Alaria gave orders to the guards in a language she had never heard. She didn't ask, just watched as the guards grabbed the boy by his arms and dragged him in front of the group.
