Casting a sympathetic glance towards the hybrid, then turned to go upstairs, picking up the pace when she heard some clattering upstairs.

"Ya'lright up there?" She called, reaching the top of the stairs.

Lucia panicked. The stuff in the closet had collapsed, but Alaria was already coming. She didn't have time to check on it.
"Mhm, everything's fine." Lucia called, forcing the exasperation out of her voice.

Entering with the flash drive in hand, Alaria found Lucia already booting up her computer. Alaria knocked on the open door frame, and Lucia waved her in. She seemed a little flustered, but Alaria waved it off mentally, and handed her the drive, "Let's see what we got."

Lucia nodded, taking the flashdrive and plugging it in. They waited a moment, and a window popped up. PASSWORD flashed in thick red letters on the screen.
"It's encrypted." Lucia noted.

"I've got this," Patagonia muttered, leaning forward and typing INSERTGENERICPASSCODEHERE into the keyboard. A green check flashed onto the screen momentarily before the contents of the drive were revealed. (hey Beastie!! >w<)

(what's the genre? Also, if it's cool, but I sleep during the day so.. maybe it'd be best if I didn't. I'll be going to bed in 3 hrs. or so)

Lucia watched as a window came up on the screen. She scanned the information. "These are all names and prices." she realized. "What do you think it means?" she asked the other two.

(I mean I'm usually on later at night around dinnertime and stuff, the genre is like a secret organization coming after the characters ik that isnt a genre just roll with it)

(Just wasn't sure what type of characters were acceptable, lol)

(any character you can have powers you can be a hybrid you can be a creature or you can be a regular human, anything works)

Jay the silver dog hybrid(we'll say that) had been outside and around the corner of the cafe, listening in on the three investigating inside. hey, that's my job he was thinking. But he reserved himself and waited. When they left, he followed at a safe distance, after first taking a look over the inside. "Oooh dem baddies were here alright.." he arrived at the house they entered shortly after they did, stepping onto the porch, where he knocked hard, thrice. Jay rolled up his open button up and combed through his yellow hair, his face serious.

Patagonia jumped at the knocking, but she'd expected it. She knew the scent of her friend Jay from miles away. (i can say that right :P)

Lucia was surprised at the three knocks at the door, but the recognition on Patagonia's face reassured her.
"Who is it?" she asked her, relieved.

"It's my friend Jay. He knows more than I do about this stuff." Patagonia replied with a smile, jumping up excitedly and rushing downstairs. She opened the door and embraced her friend. "You have no idea what all has happened in the past few hours since you left for work."

He was surprised enough that he stumbled back; he actually hadn't noticed that Patagonia was in this trio, and immediately felt ashamed. But oh boy, was he happy to see her after such a long day. He recomposed himself as he was still on his feet, and returned the embrace, ruffling her hair. She was so sweet. "Really, huh? That much has happened?" He chuckled. "I uh, hope this is an okay time then." he said, trying not to gander into the house to much, as it wasn't his, and he hadn't been invited.

Lucia heard Patagonia and her friend talking. "Come on up, you guys!" she called to them.

Patagonia took Jay by the paw and bounded upstairs.

Jay let her drag him along. At this point it was normal for him. But she really was the only one who could get away with being so cute around him. His face never changed from it's placid state, and as he joined the other two girls, he recognized the armor and nodded deeply to the commander, before turning one to the blonde. "Apologies for butting in," his scratchy voice emitted, paling Patagonia's much sweeter one.

Alaria watched Patagonia drag Jay along. He turned and nodded, and she nodded back, mildly amused. It was nice to see that Patagonia could still be happy, despite her current situation.

"So," Alaria began once they had come back to the computer, "we have names and prices. Human trafficking? Buyers?" She turned to Jay, suddenly aware that he was still here, "We're going to have to fill you in."

Jay adjusted the band on his wrist before responding. "Maybe a little, but I've got some info, too." he cringed, looking down at his long-time friend before sighing, explaining to them and admitting to her, "The Brass Monkeys," He alluded to the gang he was a member of, "Is missing a couple buddies. And we think we know who did it. Fingers, right?" he looked down sadly at Patagonia. He should've known she'd be wrapped up in this again. "What can you tell me?" He crossed his arms, looking to the computer screen near them. (I think Oakie's going to be offline for a while, told me had to work)
