Life with a twin

Gwen looked at Alex "why what?".

"Why did you just kiss me?" he asked, "If it was supposed to be a prank then…. why?"

"because……I don't know……I maybe kinda sorta like you".

Alex blushed again, "Me?" he asked, "I'm sorry I… I've never…uhm…"

Gwen smiled gently "I get it It's okay".

Alex watched her, feeling like a uselessly awkward lump of jelly.

"I'm….just gonna go" Gwen said and started to walk away.

"Wait" Alex turned after her, "Maybe… maybe we could try it?" he suggested nervously.

Gwen turned to face him "if your uncomfortable im not gonna force you" she said.

"Hey, just cause I don't know how to react to this doesn't mean I can't learn…."

gwen smiled up at him "if your sure".

"I honestly don't know what to think right now…" he said honestly, "Except that I'm willing to at least try it…"

Gwen gently closed her eyes "me too"
Grady began to lead blaze back to gwen and alex.

Alex ran his fingers through his hair, forcing himself to calm down. "Yeah.. maybe.. maybe we can talk later? When our siblings won't try and kill us?" he suggested.
Blaze sighed, following Grady back to the clearing.

"good idea" she said
grady made it back to the two.

Alex kept one wary eye on Grady as they came back, hoping that his sister wouldn't notice anything.
Blaze gave him a curious look as they came back, but didn't say a word.

gwen walked to her brother
grady looked at her.

Blaze sighed, "I'm going to assume we have more farmwork to do?"

"you all can go rest i've got some 'work' to do" gwen said starting to further back into the woods.

Blaze started after her, "I'm coming with you," she said, giving Grady a hard look that said keep an eye on my idiot brother.

"I'm fine I'd rather go alone" she said
grady knew she was going to visit her mothers grave"blaze she can go by herself."

Blaze stopped but nodded. Waiting for Grady's move.

Gwen sighed sadly as Grady walked away.

"So… now what?" Asked Alex.

"You guys can go to the barn my sister will be back in a couple hours if the animals don't get her" he teased but made it sound like he was serious.

Alex sighed, loping back to the farm to mull things over.
Blaze watched Grady "So what do we do about those two?"

" i guess we sit back and watch" grady said.

Blaze sighed, "We have enough problems without him fallin in love."

" he won't" he said.

Blaze gave him a confused look.
