About Five hourse later everyone was in the barn and it was dark and Gwen came back to the farm soaked from the rain.
Life with a twin
Alex was relaxing in a nook created in the rafters of the barn, and Blaze was lounging in th hay. "So now what?" asked Blaze.
grady shrugged.
Gwen knocked on the barn door freezing cold from the rain.
Blaze got up and opened the door, quickly pulling Gwen inside, enveloping her with a warm red-gold glow to both warm her up and dry her off.
"You ok?" She asked.
"y-yeah" gwen said teeth chattering.
Blaze increased the heat of her flameless fire aura that was surrounding Gwen. "This should heat you up." she said, wrapping an arm around the other girl.
Gwen sat down shivering rocking back and forth
Grady rushed to gwen noticing cuts on her arms "Gwen" he said worredly.
Blaze saw them too, "What happened?" she asked.
"I just a little fight" she said.
Grady went to touch a cut and gwen screamned a bit.
Blaze quickly tried to quiet her, while Alex lept down form the rafters. Blaze used her auras to heal the cuts. She was a bit woozy after, but fine within a few minutes.
Alex watched with concern, "Fighting?" he asked, "With who?"
"just an animal" dhe said.
"What kind of animal?" asked Blaze.
"Some cat" Gwen said.
Alex relaxed a little, "Big one?" he asked.
"It got me pretty good so yeah" she said.
Alex mulled that over, sighing as he sank to his feet in the hay. "Did you at least managed to get rid of it?"
Gwen nodded. I took care of it".
Alex nodded, humming quietly to himself.
"So…" Blaze sat down next to Gwen. "I'm gonna guess no one wants to go out there…"
"I mean I could go out there and get killed by wild animals if you'd like' she said.
Blaze sighed, "Lets not do that" she said.
Gwen smiled ever so slightly from thinking about how concerned Alex was.
Alex eventually got up. Shifting to wolf form as he stalked restlessly about the barn.
Gwen was the only one up at the time or so she thought.
Blaze lay in the hay, listening for her brother's movements though she couldn't hear her brother's silent footsteps in the hay.
Gwen was at the top of the barn looking out the barn window.
Alex stopped to meet Blaze's gaze, before going back to his circuit of the barn.
Gwen sighed as she started to climb out the window.
Alex paused for a moment to watch her, his golden fur very noticeable in the dark barn.
Gwen froze for a moment when she saw him but then went back to climbing out the window.
Alex shifted, scaling the wall to follow her curiously.
